If that story's true then it would probably have been from when there was a sewage leak at the factory and they had to write off a huge amount of packaged stock.

@@RonaldFulcrum There wasn't actually a sewage leak at the factory, it was down the road and caused issues for trucks to get in and out of their factory grounds to actually pick up stock. If it is true (I doubt it is) then it's not really GW considering the head sculpts trash, moreso that they just do not have the need to sell that stock anymore and will throw it out. They've done it before, people have gone into the bins at Warhammer World and found old, full, boxes of old edition battle boxes and stuff. They've since locked the bins up more securely though so, sadly, no more dumpster diving at their property.

I play Guard and for them you still have to pay a dumb amount for a full squad of infantry. It's like 1 point per buck where I live. Scions are equally a bad deal, 5 for like 40-60 depending on retailer. At least they're plastic?

Shame that the old wolf heads didn't release as well, would have been nice for the people who did like them to get a chance to buy them, or at least if they were sent out, at least just stayed on the website instead of being complety removed and replaced

I honestly would use the wolf heads (I never was a Space Marine/Space Wolves/Horus Heresy player). Maybe for something other than Space Marines, but I feel they are fun.
