This video sobered me up 5-years ago and I have stayed sober since. He really understood addiction and was always happy to take your call at any hour or meet up if u needed to talk. I was 14 in a rehab center back in the 80s when I had to listen to his class as part of our youth treatment program and he and his wife became two of my closest friends. He passed many years ago but I still have all the letters, books and videos he would send and all these years later for this video to pop up on my interest feed is a blessing. I needed to see this video. Not a coincidence. Miss you always Tom .

I had the privilege of attending some meetings with him in the early 90s. What struck me the most, he was no longer a smoker but he had the humility to clean ashtrays after the meeting.
