Tom BLOCKED Me - Unadilla JDay Sprint Enduro 2019

We hopped over to Unadilla MX for the J-Day Sprint Enduro on September 7th 2019. There were two "tests" - woods and cross. You had to do four laps on each test, and your time summed up across all laps is what you got.
This highlights an area of my riding that needs improvement - "sprint" speed. I can ride 2+ hours at the pace I rode in this video, but my screaming fast sprint speed is lacking. Some motocross practice is needed.
It was a fun day of trying to pass Tom.

Try riding with earplugs in! I've found that it really helps you focus.

Yes, noise is proven to be fatiguing too. Ear plugs will help your endurance.

Nice job Zach! On that particular course the Yamaha was ripping. I love the sound of the big fours and I love the two strokes, so noise doesn't bother me. Just noticed you were really flying with that more open track. Keep up the good work.

I love watching your videos Zac. But yes the YZ250F is louder than the FX. Also they don't lug like the FX's do. So if you sell it, then trade it for the FX. You will like the difference in the two bikes for how you ride.

This reminds me of the grandprix races i do on my channel. The race format is different but you race in the woods field sections and the motocross track. I love a race with all the variety!! Dont sell the fourstroke lol

What id like to know is how are you comfortable with passing tight trees at that speed with no barkbusters? Isn't that a guaranteed broken finger/hand/wrist/something? Or are you just that good that you'll never hit one?

Zach it would be a blast if yu came and raced the gncc race October 26-27 crawfordsville Indiana Ironman is the name of it and it’s one of the best gncc races biggest hill climbs and sweet Moto track. We camp with a group every year from Canada that comes down and races

Here’s a tip for the grass part try to use the whole track what I mean is go from the outside to the inside onto the corner and when you hit the brakes in the air it stops you from nose diving

You should do the Grand Prix at Fast Traxx in Nelsonville, Ohio. It's a fun course. We try and race it every weekend they have an event!

Love the vids. Been watching em for a little while now. I did this event also. I regret not doing the woods course first. Instead I opted for the cross test cuz the line was so long at the woods course. I got done the woods test around 4:30 and they where so blown out by them. Usually there are 3 test but only 2 this year at dilla. Compare to the hard enduros, this must of been a piece of cake
