i’m searching up old games i remember when playing on my old xbox. i had 2 original xbox’s but dad threw them away cause he thought i wasn’t going to play them anymore after getting a PS4. i’m 14 now and played this around 6-9 years old. this brings me nostalgia :) used to play this with my cousins. definitely one of my favorite games on the original xbox

I beat this game twice without using cheat codes. It's a tough game but not impossible.

It's unfairly tough, with retarded AI teammates and all the hordes of enemies. They definitely went overboard compared to base GR2. And I have to make it somewhat watchable and short, nobody wants to see 50 deaths and quickloads in a row in a video. 😅

Very strange, when I played this game on my Xbox, I didn't require night vision in many of the missions but you did. In fact I remember them as day missions..😐

Ye I know, it looks like it's bugged. No way it was intended that way. Maybe something wrong with my xbox, or my game? But I managed to finish the game regardless, that's what matters :)

@@ErmacgerdLongplays Yeah you did manage to finish the game.. After dying a lot😁Don't know why the brightness was so low, I think you had cranked up the brightness level in the video to max. I had to reduce the brightness of my display by half 😁. You should upload more Xbox titles, good to see your Xbox is still working. Mine died a long time back.

I remember getting this game and being mildly upset they brought back “Alicia Diaz” character . I would always shoot her if she was in my squad cause I hated her voice 😂 “gOoD sHoOtiN cAptAiN” . The AI in this and previous title where so brain dead that you had to do everything opposed to the first GR games where they actually followed orders and would spot and shoot enemies before you even noticed them 😂

Basically whole Summit Strike is a bullshit difficulty wise, compared to Ghost Recon 2. Literal hordes of enemies. Hard to imagine, no? :))

is it compatible on a hacked xbox 360? I know there were some options for increased compatibility through some additional hacking, but I didnt think Summi Strike was ever compatible? :)

On 360? I think it should be, same as GR2, but it probably slows down the game to a crawl sometimes, 360 emulation do be like that sometimes. Btw I played on og xbox, never tried on 360 🧐

Buuuut, if you got a hacked X360 you could try running GR2 on it, and it would probably look better than on any OG Xbox. Would run worse most likely, and still not in 720p internal resolution, but would look better. :D

I think it's a lot of 360 games available, but not even close to all, unfortunately. Every game has to be checked and added manually by Microsoft. It's series s/x that can play every single xbox one title automatically

Because of much better accuracy, you won't do good in Ghost Recons if you just full-auto dudes 500 m away from you. xD

Sorry to say, but the only option would be the xbox emulator, but this game doesn't work at the moment :((

@@ErmacgerdLongplays CXBC-reloaded plays it fairly ok, but it has audio problems Dialogue just flat out cuts out if you move and many sounds are just way too loud Tried it on xemu as well, but it has some pretty bad visual and performance issues there

@@ErmacgerdLongplays Progress is slow but steady, 11 months ago xemu was at V 0.5, now it’s at V 0.6 It does have quite a few titles that really are playable on it, shame that GR2 is not one of them
