Additionally, it is appalling at best, that the CEO of Kroger simply appears before the hearing, being so ILL prepared to answer questions asked him about the happenings within his company. If the CEO can, or will not answer questions put to him about the practices within the company which he is CEO of, then dismiss the CEO, and get someone else of the upper echelon in the hearing, so that questions can be answered when the questions are asked. To wait for the Kroger CEO to get back to Senator Cotton at a later date, is a cowardly way of dodging the questions.

I imagine they were fired for refusing to put their name badge in the designated spot or refusing to wear the apron, both are uniform violations.
