He is, very bright in the way of being articulate and how he portrays himself at that age. I’m impressed of how aware he seems. I just don’t understand the sanity of this man with what I’ve read about from over the years. It shocked me reading some of the things I did and it makes me very uncomfortable thinking about it. When it comes to his personal life with his biological daughter and Scientology, I was in disbelief and never even heard of Scientology. I searched all about it and it just blew my mind. Couldn’t even believe of how culty it sounded. Especially when I found Leah Remidi and her opinion since she was an active participant in the church of Scientology, she was somewhat friends with Tom Cruise. But then it’s just his devotion and strong willed passion for his whole career and everything he does outside if his personal life, plus the thoughtfulness and kindness towards fans. Then his intelligence and charm. His bravery in everything he does. It’s like how does he hold 2 different perspectives in life so well? Blows my mind how he can hide it… but he’s a world class actor. He works with the best if the best. sometimes I doubt it because of how he seems but I don’t know what to believe. I can normally read people pretty well with intuition, but he’s too complex. I just don’t know if I should like him or not. I love how talented and unproblematic he seems here, and this is really before all of the madness started with his wives and biological daughter. But he converted to it around the time this was filmed. So sad.

It was actually not uncommon among celebrities in the early 1990's to have class and a sense of mature style. People did a lot of introspection and this resulted in coming across as charming and confident in any situation. Why? Because they read books, treasured privacy and had lots of time to spend on themselves, have real conversations with their friends and family and being present in the real world. The modern internet didn't exist.

An interview before social media. Love it!! This was real, no crowd to build on. People can have whatever opinion they want on Tom Cruise, and while many do it very well, not one does his craft better. He knows how to make a good production. A cinematic one. Not one shot in a room with digital creation for every scene. Hollywood will lose a lot when he's done. He really stays true to his craft and doesn't just chase Oscar roles. He takes action and puts us in it very well. Good for him. Top Gun: Maverick is really amazing, and the fact it actually took so many years between the two actually makes the film as great as it is. Just to think how fast time flies. He was 23/24 in this interview, and he was 45 when this video was posted on YT, and he's about to turn 60. It's really overnight, kids. I had the privilege of meeting Tom Cruise in an elevator once at the Church of Scientology. I bumped into him on the way out. He was so nice, calm and friendly. When I bumped into him and apologized he said “don’t worry.” And asked me how I was. I did not realize who it was until he went in the elevator and the door closed. I suddenly did a double take as I turned around only to see him smiling right as the elevator door closed. He was just like this. You people who criticize him without having met him ought to be ashamed of yourselves. He is a very humble soul.

@CarissaConti3 жыл бұрын
Not to be mean, but you haven't seen recent pics I take it. He's definitely aged, way more than 10 years. But it happens to all of us. He's going to be 60 next year. It's normal to be aged by that point. He was only 24 in this interview, and right now, pushing 60, he definitely doesn't only look 34. (I've read in multiple sources that he apparently had some sort of plastic surgery or injections or something several years ago that didn't take well. That's what really caused him to age very drastically in a very short period of time, to his current weird, puffy/bloated face. Prior to that he really was aging very well, and maintaining. Probably due to his super healthy, active lifestyle. All of these stars think they need to get procedures done even when they don't, and it usually backfires.)
@TrueBlueGirl13 жыл бұрын
@@CarissaConti Yes, he has aged - he has aged normally! I'm so glad to see he hasn't gone down the road f plastic surgery etc. He looks very good for a man of his age.

@@TrueBlueGirl1 Somebody didn't read my previous response. He hasn't aged normally. He did shit to his face that made him look puffy/bloated. It was reported in multiple "gossip sites"/blind gossips. And it was obvious in looking at him that he had something done. Procedures don't always mean "going under the knife," having skin cut/tucked/pulled. It can involve other types of procedures, which he clearly had done. And which was reported on.
