Ben McAdoo got a raw deal from the Giant's because he pushed back on John Mara who wanted to keep Eli Manning as the starting QB when it was clear Eli was passed his prime and was unable to play in a dirty pocket and was unable to re-set the pocket by making subtle moves. McAdoo benched Eli in favor of Gino Smith. He also argued that the Giants trade up in the Draft and take Patrick Mahomes who he gave high grades too contrary to what the the Giants then Front office thought of Mahomes. It turned out as Gino Smith won a starting job in Seattle and Mahomes has won three Super Bowls and will be working on his fourth that McAdoo knew what he was talking about and John Mara and his front office had NO CLUE what they were doing. Jerry Reese the then Giant GM defended McAdoo calling him the smartest man in the Room. Mara than fires McAdoo and Resse ( who won 2 Super Bowls) and hires Dave Gettlemen as GM because he promised to keep Eli as the QB. After Gettlemen takes over the Giants sink further into the abyss, as DG takes Daniel Jones of DUKE to replace Eli and a Head coach Carousel begins.

Still absolutely unbelievable that the Krafts foisted Jerod Mayo onto this offensively - challenged team with a proven leader, HC and Pats HoFamer Mike Vrabel available. Not even an interview? This is ownership dereliction of the highest order. Now Pats fans have to wade through the muck and mire of a rookie HC in desperate search of a coherent strategy, all because he and Kraft had a manlove bonding experience in Israel. I don't think the NE fanbase has fully grasped how badly this is shaping up to be. The Patriots are poised to fill the role that that Lions and Bengals historically filled: an easy W.

They knew Cam was far better than Mac. Mike Reiss wouldn’t give Cam credits for his work & under reported it. I never seen so much disrespect to any QB in the NFL, the way Boston Media did Cam. Cam Loved Belichick & the Patriots. Malik Cunningham got pushed out, too. Cam Helped developed Jakobi Meyers, & it’s not recognized. They skip & give it to Mac Jones. It’s a lie! Jakobi was on Cam’s 7 v 7 team. Cam also help save his NFL career. Mac Jones was so very rebellious & why the Patriots fell, down like they did!

NE is a total mess this is all Krafts fault. Picks Jerrod Mayo who slaps Kraft in the face with his first speech and was drafted and trained By BB. Now instead of going out and getting a GM that can help put the staff together their trying to do the draft the same way they did it with Bill. The Krafts have had say in who gets drafted who stays who plays and who goes since Bill took over as GM. Anyone that believes BB wanted Mac Jones is an idiot Bill wanted to take a tackle and draft a QB in the second round.

I think, without a doubt, the offensive minds take a step back with AVP/McAdoo-doo. Bill Obrien, though not successful during his 2nd stint with the Pats, has at least called plays on every down, whereas AVP had only called plays once in a while, and well, we know how bad McAdoo has been. Hopefully for them, the Pats will sign and draft some good offensive players. Obrien was working with garbage last year.
