Tobacco Vanille is still an undisputed classic for the crisp winter months in NYC... without a doubt, it turns heads and stands out from the rest of my collection - YSL, Bond No 9, Durga, Creed, Hermes... I will look forward to trying Oud Wood and adding it to my growing collection. Thank you Robin!

Was at the Tom Ford Covent Garden shop today, trying all the private blends. Oud Wood is absolutely fantastic, really nice notes and for an Oud fragrance it isn't incredibly heavy which was nice. Very masculine as you said. Fantastic video as always Robin!

@@ManForHimself Although I couldn't even dream of affording it, Lost Cherry was so nice. Reminded me of cocktails or bakewell tart, as you said in your review. I ended up settling on the Neroli Portofino. I love floral, somewhat citrus-like fragrances and this one really hit the nail on the head. It's 100% my summer scent!

My mom never heard of oud wood, I sprayed one pump in my house and she was like OH MY GOD. She was impressed. Everyone woman I’ve come across or known complement the fragrance. I love the smell of oud wood.

I’m new to fragrances but I’m very happy with my purchase of Oud Wood. At first I didn’t understand why everyone loves it so much yet as my body got accustomed to the smell of Oud, the scent got better. In fact, one of my favorite parts about this scent is how much of a stress reliever it is as it reminds me of being in a sauna filled with sage.

Love the minerale. It's truly great in high heat but equally enjoyable on a cold and wet day. I much prefer Italian Cypress to oud wood - immense longevity being one of a few reasons. OW garners way more compliments though.

OW is cloying in hot weather. I live in a very hot (and humid) country. I ADORE the way OW smells on paper or from the bottle, but on my skin it gets cloying in the heat. And it gets powdery. My wife didn't like it on me. We only have a couple of months of cool weather here (it gets down to around 8 degrees Celsius at night in the dead of winter). Not sure it's worth spending TF prices and being so limited in usage most of the time. Unfortunately, there's no OM here at all, and there are no available testers for OWI - and I NEVER blind buy. I'll try to get my nose on these next time a fly to Europe.

Great review. Now, I might be wrong but, I think the Agarwood tree comes from Southeast Asia, one of the country’s being Indonesia; not the Middle East (which is a sector of the word, including the Arabic countries, where they use Oud the most). But, again, I might be wrong.

Though, if you wear more than one fragrance and rotate from day to day, depending on the weather, your outfit, or how you're feeling, any of them could easily last you a couple years. Just reminder to store your fragrances properly: out of direct sunlight and in a room that doesn't get too hot for extended periods of time. Don't want that precious juice spoiling!!! Some frag-heads store their fragrances in the fridge to really keep out fresh, but that's wholly unnecessary so long as you follow those two suggestions above! 😊

I've got my self a small bottle 30ml of the Tom Ford Oud Wood. And its smell is just fantastic. Very nice very classy fragrance for special occasions. But i have to say that it is so much different from my other perfumes.
