So many live lounges now strip out the emotional parts that make the original song great. I thought the whole point of a cover was to put your own unique spin on a song. This cover isn’t technically bad but it’s pretty bland & soulless and I’d argue that’s worse

I don't know why people are saying he ruined it, the point of these is to make the song sound in thier own style. The original sounded like a notalgic part of a movie, this one sounds like a slower sentimental part of a movie soundtrack, both are good
