You can see how he would attract the ladies, Mary Wilson of the Supremes included for two years but Linda had a true love, turned the other cheek. She would have felt all the hurt in this song.

This is my favorite song by Tom, and that's saying something because he's got a bunch of great songs. What can you even say about something this Great! WOW! That's why Elvis referred to Tom, his friend, as "the voice". This is a live performance with no studio tweaking. And he just Kills it.
