I enjoyed listening to Tom talk and impressed at his patience with the goofy interviewer who kept repeating the same questions.

I Know ? right? such ? no good interviewers out there?? you're interviewing Tom Jones NOT jonn who-ever?? they always try and get Tom to say something bad about some one else and He Never does ! He is too gracious and doesn't take the obvious bait.,.its not his character to be little anyone.,.he dosent need to

Good this interview occurred when it did. In today’s society, the person being interviewed would simply get up and walk away from an interviewer who was not very good as this one was. Just my thought.

This is a full interview which Tom generously gave for a NZ documentary made about John Rowles
@ifn_media3 жыл бұрын
Whilst he was asked to sing at the end which, was a bit off key to ask, however I do believe that he would make a killing out of "Can you hear me?" (Bowie circa 1974) Who actually went along with his then wife, Angie, to see Tom in concert that year

Why does the interviewer keep asking questions about John? Maybe he should have interviewed John?

WTF is this “John” they keep talking about ? 🤔
@antonspelman5 жыл бұрын
John Rowles, NZ's greatest singer and contemporary of Tom
@panchovilla53595 жыл бұрын
simon lynch I just heard him, wow what a amazing voice John has. He sounds like Elvis and Englebert Humperdinck, all rolled into his own style. Definitely a god given voice. 🙏🏻
@antonspelman5 жыл бұрын
@@panchovilla5359 Yes, had John stayed in the UK he would have gone on to major success, but he opted for Hawaii over the English weather. Prior to that, he headlined in Vegas in 1968-69 and told me as a 21-year-old, Elvis admired him and John was invited up to an all-night soiree at Elvis's top-floor suite, where Elvis sang gospel all night with his back-up guys, while Tom Jones and John stood talking rugby at the bar. Tom and Elvis were both fans of John Rowles.

simon lynch I noticed that some British celebrities move to the United States for the weather. But I will take the weather in England any day rather than live in the United States. The United States health system is corrupt, the whole country is corrupt, especially if they know a celebrity has money. There are warmer places to live that are people friendly.

The interviewer.needs to get your his ducks in a row and remember who he is interviewing. Tom Jones has every rite not to continue with this lousy interviewer. Sorry Tom! Had nothing to do with you.
