Hi guys. I'm visiting your channel for the first time. I had heard Dax before, but this song was my first introduction to Tom & Adam. As a white man, slavery was horrible and never should have happened. However I look at it like this. Black people have been through hell and back and you’re STILL here. Showing that you’re stronger than the old time white people thought. But focusing on the past doesn’t get anyone anywhere, it just causes more division. The government causes us to be divided because they know that if we come together we’d be unstoppable. Are there racist people in this country? Yes there is. But they’re being pushed out of society, we need to to let go of the past, let go but not forget, and come together as ONE people. We’re stronger together than we are divided.
