You press pause/ When the game hard/ And you need options./ I flex often/ You lame awkward/ You geeks awful/ It's a reference to pausing a video game and going to the options to switch it to easy mode.. and using it as a metaphor to tie it back into real life. That's one of the things Tom is phenomenal at. Like lyrically dude is phenomenal.. like it's not a stretch to say he is one of the 5 to 10 best technically skilled rappers ever.. especially from the musical aspect and just the way he lays out his rhyme scheme with the beat. Like, it's why he can switch his flow so effortlessly. It's genius. We all have preferences to what we like and what we think sounds good.. but the way the songs are built is a different aspect. I just really dont like his hooks sometimes.

I agree with everything you said! I don’t like some of the hooks either, but they do get stuck in your head, which is the point. I think it’s ironic that Nova helps Tom with his hooks and they are ok, but everyone loves the hook in Nova’s Hey You and says Tom should do better hooks, but Tom actually wrote it and gave it to her.
