He toured Europe with Struggle a few years back also. So I don’t think he would disrespect those artists Main style of rapping. So I personally think that this song is just only saying he’s not a specific type of artist bc he’s very versatile between different styles himself. This is really not a diss on all of those types of rappers, Tom is just saying he’s not any of them, he is his own lane. The only thing he really hates is the direction hip hop has taken with the promotion of drugs, violence and objectification of women. It’s covered in the hook, that’s what he hates about hip hop. I can give you the run down on Tom and why he says what he does if you want. He is very deliberate in every word he uses and it serves a purpose. I totally get what you're saying but like someone else said it's hard when you listen to his songs out of order because he is constantly referring back to or linking lines from previous songs and some of what he says is in response to some bullshit hate that he's gotten, thus this song. This is kind of like Cancelled in a way if that makes sense. Like I told you, you can't compare Tom to anybody, Tom Is Tom. LOL This was the 1st song I heard of his and took me reading comments, going on his Facebook, watching old live streams, and listening to every song he had on KZbin for me to really appreciate him and love his music. Now I am obsessed! If you notice Tom calls himself a rapper not a hip hop artist and all the OGs refer to hip hop as the culture around rap so its 2 different things really. Tom doesn't like the hip hop culture because of the gang thug wannabes, sexualizing women, promoting drugs, etc. FYI I'm sure eventually you will notice he talks about the brand labels and chains. All the Louie and Gucci is 2nd hand he bought for videos but doesn't really wear it and his jewelry is fake. He's has given away and resold a lot of it after the videos. The reason he talks about it is because he got so much hate and so many people accusing him of being a sellout or that he had changed.
