That 1 line says sooooooooooo much about what our culture has become. It is revolting and absolutely disgraceful, disgusting, ignorant. BUT I AM A 90'S baby so we come from a different time than the teenagers being brought up now. It isn't like that in every family, I get it. I LOVE THIS SONG. Well i just love this guy. I was molested at 4 yrs old, 12 yrs old and raped at 26 by my friend. My mom confirmed the incident when I was 4 yrs old when I was 25ish. She literally told me she tried giving me a bath and I told her " No, don't touch it. It hurts". My mom never admitted it to me but she also told the school police officer she believed that I was molested at 12. We got home and about a week later, i was having a day where I was just crying. She asked why I was upset. I told her because of what Joel did to me. She looked at me and had the freaking nerve to say " why would u ruin a good man's reputation? She said she was attacked as a young women so she told me " it happens to women. You got to get over it." That conversation broke any trust I had in my parents. I currently have cut them out of my family's life for my children future stability.

Great line, i'm still pro-choice overall but we need to be honest about this kind of shit. It's a life under law if the (potential) mother wants it to be, yet not if they don't. Almost nothing else matters under law, how messed up is that? If it is a human life, then it's literally murder so how can we sit here and say that murderers get to decide if their victims are worth a life? I dunno, i'm a man. I'm allegedly not allowed an opinion.

He said so many times that he wishes he could sing about other issues but since the country is so sensitive he prefers not to push the limits.

@Aviation Nut That just pushes the false narrative. The "attack on the capital" was the worst "insurrection" in the history of the world. There was an incident where a little boy (4 or 5) told his parents that he wanted to be a girl. After a bit of digging and asking him a few questions, it turned out the reason he wanted to be a girl was because he had a special needs sister who needed a lot of attention but he thought the reason for all the attention she got was because they liked her better because she was a girl. Two things I got from this: 1) Thank goodness his parents weren't woke liberals who just jumped on the transkids bandwagon and/or live in Canada where parents are being jailed for using their childs "wrong pronoun". And 2) How innocent and sweet he is for seeing his sister just as his sister and not a person with a disability. Just proves children are children and sometimes need adults to explain, truthfully why some things are the way they are. Guess what? Mom and Dad realized they were neglecting thier son to an extent. They started paying more attention to him and now he doesn't want to be a girl anymore. The point is, his little boy brain made an assumption. Guess what else? It's completely normal for a boy to play dress-up and play with mommy's clothes and shoes and make-up. It stems from children wanting to emulate the person who has the biggest impact on them. It also reiterates the importance of having a good mom and a good dad for a child to see that dynamic. Society is glorifying single parent homes. My parents were incredible role models to me and my 5 siblings. Unfortunately, I had to raise my daughter on my own. I did what I could. My daughter is doing very well, all things considered. But I do believe she would have been in a much better place in life with a strong male role model growing up.

Well there were actually multiple women who portrayed Aunt Jemima through the years, and it is debatable who the first person was that represented the brand as Aunt Jemima. It was a stereotype on an African American slave/ cook. Many people don't see it as racist because they don't know the history and/ or they see it as a positive character. Many of women who represented the Aunt Jemima brand who traveled the country as spokeswomen for Aunt Jemima did very well financially and I haven't heard any reports from their families that there were any regrets.

A girl in my life wanted to be a guy, but it were also just a phase she grew out of. The fact that people are making permanent changed to these kids based on whims are beyond psychotic, what are you gonna tell that child when they grow up, and find out that they regret it, and now they're neither man nor woman, and it can't get reversed. Worst of all is that some parents, and even in some case the government forces it on kids, they don't even care about their "consent" (which they don't even have in the first place) They just force it upon the kids The Biden administration are suing doctors right now to force the doctors to do these operations against even the doctors will. Remember the court battles with #SaveJames, where the mom wanted their son to have a sex change because she wanted a daughter, and wanted to play dress up with him, well she won the battle against the father and got full custody, not only that, she works at the clinic that does this crazy shit.

Recent studies are showing that the human brain finishes development by around your 25th year. Tom definitely brings his A-game on this one with the rapid fire truth bombs and, as expected, stirred a lot of discussion and that's what it's all about. People need to stop getting triggered or turning every little offense into an end of the world scenario and above all STOP with the labeling and division, and get back to communicating. The open and equal sharing of ideas and perspectives. Heh, I end up both loving and hating this kind of video because on the one hand In giving to the music and waiting to see reactions to lines I know are about to drop and hate when that gets interrupted but at the same time I love the conversation, the discussion, the communication about what things mean to each person. Makes me wish I could pull up a chair right there with you guys and be a part of it because it's something that just does not happen often enough in today's world. Every one just wants to slap a label on everyone else and put them into boxes of "people not worth a damn." You know, like "oh, you're white so you have nothing of value to say on this issue" or "well, you're a guy so your input is irrelevant here" or "you voted for so-and-so which means you must be such-and-such and I don't associate with that." Nobody listens. For all the posturing and preaching about being "loving, accepting, tolerant, and woke" it's like nobody really gives a damn about anyone else, not even those with "matching labels" because they might wear one that you don't and that makes them "problematic." Glad y'all liked the song and found so much to unpack in it. I can't remember if you've already done it but if you haven't "Fake Woke" is definitely worth checking out.

The cross imagery is reflective of the fact that he's been symbolically crucified for the same reason Christ was literally crucified, for speaking unpopular truth.

I think this is the first one a family member appeared in that’s his sister as co host, the Jonny Depp thing I’m convinced she is narcissistic and may be bi-polar 😢

Great discussion between you all, and little bro (Berto!) is a great addition. Keep it up, think yiu guys could easily setup another channel with straight podcast to discuss culture, politics, music, etc. and keep the reactions going as well. A lot of your comments are in line with my thoughts and increasingly difficult to even discuss.

Ah, Kyle is back. And, it looks like he has warmed up to Tom more this time. Awesome. We'll slowly work him into the HOG family. ;-) I think that the symbolism of the cross was displayed as a header in the first verse. 'Man crucified for having an opinion.'

I suffer from depression, anxiety, and I’m bipolar. It’s not who I am though. People who make their entire lives their mental disorders are truly hurting themselves more than their mental disorders are. Be conscious of you mental disorders and understand that some behaviors are your disorders, but be proactive and work on yourself. I can’t stand someone who identifies as their disorder. I loved this discussion between the three of you. And if your brother makes a channel, I’ll be an instant subscriber. Much love. ❤️

This is what music and performance art does that other platform's of communication can't...I mean a 3-3:30min song sparked a 30+min video of good intelligence and thought filled conversation...this is so needed! Thank you, from a white middle aged unapologetic single father...not that any of that should matter...like y'all said, when Simpson's, Family Guy, George Carlin, Dave Chappelle, Andrew Dice Clay, Eddie Murphy Raw, 2Live Crew, Lords of Acid, Eminem, etc...we had so many influences that could have been horrible yet we knew they were all a bold representation to provoke cringe or make us realize just how far we had come when they were being real and bookending it with humor...just found y'all today! I love the channel keep it going!
