Yes, I too don't completely understand them and everything I hear about them is scam after scam...but the way you explained how you would do them is legit.

I appreciate you talking about this. I'm a very small artist. Go out on weekends to flea markets trying to get my art out to people who enjoy it. I've been doing NFTs to try to broaden that. I've seen so many different, what we call, "rug pulls." It does get very discouraging. I pride myself on staying true to the small community I have through NFTs and we talk about it a lot. All I want as an artist is to get my work to people who enjoy it. NFTs allow me to to that on a much larger scale than I could non digitally. It really hurts us small creators when big influencers step in just for the sake of having extra cash. When they have the audience some of us would love to have and treat like the best thing that ever happened in our lives. My biggest hope is that you do go through with it, if only to set a better example for artists of your stature. That the community they have must always come first.

NFTs are a tool not a scam. Scams use tools but that does not make the actual utility go away. That said maybe I am biased as I have many I make income from daily.

I think the reason behind a lot of people saying that there a scam. Is also possibly a lot of people don't fully understand them, then they put a lot of money in thinking that it's going to make them rich without understanding or doing research. Unfortunately they then lose it all or alot of it and then call it a scam. ❤ However I would definitely be in, and the way you want to do it would be a great idea for people who don't fully understand it etc etc.❤

Tom ... I'm sort of in the middle - I think they're a scam, but I also think they're cool! I haven't either bought or made any NFTs, but have read a good deal about their use/creation. You mentioned doing a personalized version of song clips ... putting one's sweetie's name in "Ghost" would make a shit ton of money!
