This song reminds me a lot of the guitar work of Michael Hedges, from a generation earlier. I wish it were a little more improvisational though.

I love Michael Hedges, Breakfast in the Field and especially, Aerial Boundaries, heavily influenced my playing about a decade ago. If you want some more improvisation, you should check out my album I Am a Mountain. The first track is 39 minutes and it's basically all improv! Thanks for listening and I appreciate your feedback, I'll make sure to do some videos in the future that feature more of that improvisational side as well.
