Tom and the boys as I first encountered them: young, hungry, not taking themselves too seriously but with kick-ass, punchy tunes that distilled the punk ethos/energy of the time with catchy tunes and great musicianship (kinda rare) into something original and rare. Loved them then and now.

Voices change, certain things slow down in life…but the gift, the talent and a good answer by Spike of Fuck It l..it was always there right up through his passing … and now Dirty Knobs are sailing forth runnin down their dream…peace 😊

I faintly remember hearing that Tom died a few years back, I listened to the band from the start. Well it finally hit me this year that he really is gone? What the hell is with time? Where does it go and why so quick? We lost a gem with Tom. I hope you all realize that our life is a moment in time. And it that brief moment we had Tom, couldn't ask for a better musician to get us by during this thing called life!

Chorus was a tv show on french tv during the end of the 70's and begining of the 80's. It was only live concerts recorded for this tv show. I was in my teens, and that help me to get a great Rock n Roll culture. Great souvenir from a french Rock n Roll addict , thanks !

We're so fortunate that he still lives in video, and in our hearts. I honestly never knew of Tom Petty until after he died. Hard to believe, but true. Thanks to my son giving this Tablet to me as a Christmas present, I love Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I told my son the Tablet was the truly the best present I ever received. It gives me so much pleasure.

tom dresses so oddly though sometimes. i’d get to a concert and see his outfit and just shake my head - he always looked good despite the headband, the neck scarves, the shirts that didn’t fit well. yeah, the top hat was great but his ensemble in the You Got Lucky video was the best?

Don't like the sound on this French TV production. Not very good and this is the first time I am disappointed with their performance. Maybe it was the TV studio recording....not sure what but their music was just off. I love TP&THB but they were not at their best. Hard to believe. Also, don't think Tom felt connected and even understood by this TV audience....hence, Tom saying semi sarcastically "crepes-suzette" and " parley- vous ???"

that’s all the french he knew - maybe Alachua County schools didn’t have French classes in 1956-1968 like we had in Berlin Maryland at the same time. he was born 10.20.50 - I was born 10.21.51. ships passing in the night!
