What a great set. My father still says it was the best show I ever took him to. It was an outdoor venue and we had lawn seats. he brought road pops and we tailgated. About a half hour in I happened to wonder off to get a beer and was so drunk I could not find him for a very long time amongst all the dads!

I saw him the year he died on July 22nd at TD Bank Arena in Boston MA. It was the most incredible show I have ever seen and I have seen dozens and dozens. There will be no other like him. Such a loss. Tragic.

I saw him at the Hollywood just 1 show before his passing. I’ll never forget going with a walker, just having knee relacement. Hardest concert I ever went too, be he was worth it. I miss you Mr. Rock Star!!!

I never got to see Tom and the heartbreakers but this band was up there with all the great bands such talent the song writing was some of the best of all time you can’t dispute it.They had hit after hit even their new album before Tom passed was outstanding and not many bands can pull that off.Miss you Tom never be another like you.

U lucky doggie. First you got to see Tom. You got to see it in Philly. That's a double great! I'm in Central Florida. But I was in Philly for 24 years. You do not go to see concerts in Central Florida. Not if you want kick butt take no prisoners down and out great times. Definitely Philly. Peace and blessings to you. And now I'm getting so old that if I go to a concert around Central Florida, it's probably Lawrence Welk tribute or something. Ha ha. I'm not dead yet. I'm 72. But it's rainy nasty days like today that make me wish I was up in Philly? With 12°? I may wanna re-think my Joy tribute to Philly. Ha ha. But the fact that I'm enjoying Tom Petty means I'm not quite in the ground just yet. And I haven't checked the news feed to see what crazy things are going on in the country. If only he went to a doctor to attend to his messed up back and hip. He looks pretty wacked on some kind of opioids. Poor guy must have been suffering so bad, he needed a teleprompter with the words to the songs. I thought it was a stage monitor, but the camera came around from the back and you could see it a second or two. Not on this video. I think it was in Chicago.
