I'll never forget the first time I heard Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I was at a friends house, and Free Fallin' came on. That song touched my soul. I was lucky to get to see him at Red Rocks Amphitheater in 2005. When I was 7, my older brother happened to spot a CD laying on the side of the highway. He made my mom stop the car and ran down back the highway and grabbed it (he was in the 7th grade). One of us asked why he had to get it. He said, "You never say no to music". He put it in the CD player and it worked perfectly. Wildflowers started and it was my first time hearing Tom Petty.

I was fortunate to meet Tom Petty back in 1990. He was the most nicest sincere man I ever spoken to. He did not have the..I am a rock star attitude..I have posted this on many of Tom's songs..He was just so nice and down to earth. I miss him and I can not stop my tears for him.We LOVE you Tom, ROCK IN PEACE..You are at the room at the top.
