Ben's like "you fired 10 21% chances and you hit one!?" Yeah, ben, that's how numbers work; you were just slightly below the average of 2.1 hits. You'd be far less likely to get 3 hits than 1.

Wait, less likely to get 3 hits than 1 when the average is 2.1? What? That doesn't make sense as is, and makes even less sense if you factor in that most games have slightly better than stated odds for the player. If anything, Ben would be more likely to see 3 than 1, and 2 would be more likely than both of them (unless the slightly better odds had a difference of 5% or more).

@@deadersurvival4716 I wouldn't say *_FAR_* less likely like the OP did, but yes, because of the way Binomial Distributions work, you're more likely to get 1 than 3. The odds from most to least likely are (approximately): 2 (30.1%) 1 (25.2%) 3 (21.3%) 4 (9.9%) 0 (9.5%) 5 (3.2%) 6 (0.7%) And then the odds of getting 7 or more are so small, they're basically negligible. You can plug this into any online Binomial calculator and verify these numbers.

17:10 I mean, if the odds are 21% chance of a hit, then then the Expected Value would be 2 out of 10 hits, so 1 out of 10 hits isn't even that unlucky. It's about the same odds as flipping two coins and getting heads twice.

@@deadersurvival4716 The timestamp takes you just before Bouphe's clip (you can only timestamp to a second). In the clip, she is playing Oblivion and the guard captain is spamming the very infamous line "I don't know you and I don't care to know you.". A heavily memed Radiant AI bug.
