You ever look for gold in moss? I brought a bunch home the other day. Not from rocks. But we had a storm some washed down canyon from the rain. No one knows where the source is. Speculation of it coming from the hills.or from a spring. If its coming from Tue hills. Should be in that moss.

Just a quick note, I just heard the last of the dollar stores has just gone to 1.25 or better. I was at dollar tree the other day and saw it with my own eyes. For example some craft supplies for a couple up to 4.99. This is in Fort Collins just up the road from you

I keep watching a lot of these videos bro, dan hurd and miller prospecting, seems like youre the most realistic source, dylan seems to take more risks with non guarantee bags and cant say how he finds them? I dont know but it sure seems he knows the non guaranteed bags he buys from certain places he seems to come up alright.. Dan seems to be a kind of more non good source of how to get some gold where you pay more and get less, I dont know how it works at all, Im just going off what I see

So cost comparison, what do you think the cost avg would be to mine that gram out of a river? I’m curious because it seems to me after gas, food and effort your probably doing fairly good with the paydirt costs. At least on a small scale and not commercial mining.

I have, and my conclusion was that unless you were doing 10+ pounds at a time, and doing it often, it is not really worth it as far as value. As a science experiment though, definitely worth it

Hey Shane I don't know if you remember me saying that or asking you to give me pointers on a good metal detector for under $200 but I found one it's a teknetics Delta 4000 it came with a pinpointer headset and carrying case and I paid 50 bucks for it tell me if that is a good deal and is kinetics a good product thank you

Ya know, you can just use a plastic baggie over the end of your nut driver/magnet setup instead of or in addition to the silver dollar tube, put in on inside out, and you can just pull the bag right side out and pull it off, leaving no trace of the magnetic material behind.

Hey Logan great idea, and that is true! I have tried this in the past unfortunately the plastic baggie tends to rip most of the time. The silver dollar tube works better than anything else I’ve tried

I love your videos and content however you always go out of your way to tell us that you get your paydirt from a third party shipper so you can provide a fair review and this one doesn't seem to be that. Obviously they didn't add tons of extra gold to pad their stats but the unbiased reviews are my favorite. This was more of a commercial or advertisement for Tom. That being said, thanks to both of you for your service!
