If he's going to a good gym and actually training 2-3 times a week, he'll actually have his ego broken in the next several months. If he's actually rolling with classmates, who are all going to be infinitely better than him, and he'll be humbled on a regular basis. Nothing resets your self image quite like rolling with someone half your age and half your size and weight and getting choked out...quickly...and realizing there was nothing you could do about it. (Not that I'd know, of course because nothing like that would ever happen to me of course... Btw, never roll with the instructor's friggin 16 yr old son. Jus sayin. Lol!)

No, actually, a midlife crisis is when you are middle aged, and you look at where you are, what you're doing, and who you're doing it with, and you say: "I am making some really shitty choices, I need to change." That's a crisis. Taking ju-jitsu, buying fast cars, and having affairs with groupies is an ego trip and attempt to make yourself feel better about how empty and shallow you are.

@@BernardoNajera if you are a bad person or you have a bad personality or you aren't funny or.....then money is not going to fix that. Money is not going to make people really like you, money is not going to make women really want to sleep with you or by your partner, money is not going to make people really laugh at your jokes. Sure you will get all these things but it will only be because of the money and eventually you will realise everything is fake and everyone only wants to have anything to do with you because you have money. It is better to learn topve yourself, then you will be happy with you, learn to be a good person, these things are most important in life. Money will only make you happy for so long, once that excitement dies you will feel even more lonely and depressed. However if you do the things I said and work on yourself, get fit and healthy, be a good person, learn to be happy with you, then every little thing you do and acquire will be magnified and make you so happy.

To be fair, don't you know anyone who's lost a significant amount of weight after dedicating themselves to really trying to get in shape? Most people tend to talk about it a lot. It's natural to do so, because it's a huge thing in a person's life. And it's really pretty overwhelming to feel how much friggin better you feel when you're in decent shape. Even if you're still not ripped and looking like a fitness model, if you go from morbidly obese to wearing normal people sized clothes that actually fit and look good on you and you can tuck your shirt in without it being an ordeal and don't run out of breath putting your shoes on, it's an amazing thing to feel and people want to talk about it. And they want other people to feel that that good too. Sometimes you need to just stfu and let a guy have his time and not be a dyck n dump on him all the time for it. If you always been skinny or fit...or always been fat and are always going to be fat because you don't have it in you to better yourself, then you don't know how great it is to feel what he's feeling so get off the guy. There's plenty of other things to criticize and trash him over, so just be content with those. Beating up on somebody for making progress toward getting healthy is pretty weak and a terrible thing to do.

HOWEVER, I’ve heard that same voice in my head and I’ve heard that story 1000 times from other people in recovery. It’s that voice that I believe makes me different from “normal people.” Or whatever. I just realized that you narrated this video like you’re the Crocodile Hunter. It’s like we’re watching you observe cringe in the wild. This is quality entertainment, sir. 😂 I love your content! Why does Lauren Compton think that just because she’s laughing that other people are laughing? 😂

I appreciate the work and time you put into this content. It feels like we've been watching the downfall of people that have just lost touch and how nobody is immune but when people are showcasing their delusions on their major platforms it's a sham. Thank you for going where I now refuse to. The cringe has become overwhelming

I love how people will take jujitsu for a week and then think they know some secret new info, like an inexperienced person couldn't also easily choke someone whos literally giving their neck for free. It's beyond easy for ANYONE to throw a basic choke on an unprotected bystander who's not defending anything lol
