These friend found social life and found new people because of me in a sense as I was relentless until the socialized when we started college. We studied IT I actually became a programmer and they didnt at all. 1 job my best friend got was also because I connected him with one of my old colleagues, also my other 3 friends. They never told me if I did something wring or said something they just started ignoring me in the group chat and when I asked the 100th time after multiple years(!) of this shit they all just collectively said to me to fuck off snd they dont want to talk to me cause of *random bullshit small thing form 8 years ago* it reeked that they dont really know why. My best friend since childhood still loves me and is positive towards me but he still talks closely with my friend group but still he rarely wants to meet up with me. I started to become really lonely and feel betrayed as fuck because I always wanted good for my friend and was the one who kept the group together in tough times. It can be said that I am at fault with something and with many things maybe I am but what fucking thing is reasonable for a response to a problem wirh ignoring me and alienating me and when I asked multiple times they as a mob jumped and said all the bad things about me and NOTHING self reflection or nothing on their part. As a guy who thinks friendship is more sacred than romantic love and anything really apart fron family maybe - arguably even more sacred than that because you didnt choose your family, it feels as a stab in the gut constantly. Especially the complete lack of empathy when I said honestly that I feel really really bad because of this and it is incredibly hurtful while also being in a bad state in my life. Even my 5y long gf wants to leave me now and I feel the same that I thought something completely different about her and my friends than they thought about me. I lost my job because of health reasons and this last 6 months I struggled fo find one (experienced software engineer) and my gf complemtely betrayed me and humiliated me constantly because of this until I completely lost my self respect. And I dont have anyone to talk to honestly my gf does not resect me and is I think borderlien toi because she starts to be crazy out of nowhere but I see in her eyes... I even finally found a job but I am in constant fear because I lost everyone and even when they are close to me I sense the feeling that they are agreeing on things about me which I am not introduced to but they all talked about this behind ym back. It is the worsr feeling ever especially the complete lack of empathy while I suffered a severe car accident and got addicted to opioids and recorved from it because of my friends, to reach a point where they without any problems IGNORE me even in real life when I talk to them and now they dont even want to meet up with me whiel they do without me. My best friend is the only one who sometimes meets up with me and talks to me but he has programs with the other friends constsntly too. I no joke was the one who always wanted and did good for them and they were here for me while ai was 6months in a hospital unable to wipe my ass even, and now I almost got homeless and my gf constnatly is in my ears humiliating me and I dont have anyone sincere who understands me and even for a second putting their problems in the backside and just has fun with me or talk with me sincerely. Im starting to become fucking suicidal because I an 24 and we were friend since we were fucking 10 year olds. It is heartbreaking and I dont know the reason that is the worst. They dont have a reason. I started to fuck with them in the gc just not to ignire me but eventually I left our legendary group chat. I even have a tattoo about our meme group name because we had so much fun together and epic moments we were travelling together and partying together gaming together went to school together went to college together lived in the college dorm together joined the same club together (because I socialised very well always while they were more introverted but I made them many secondary friends my bf even was together with my fucking ex for 3 years lmao I even gave him my gf lmao)

And then his wife felt pressured to get facial surgeries and try to meet Tom's expectations to keep him happy, talking about how often she's obligated to "milk" him and do taint play to him. I think people forget how hard Bert has become to deal with. Everyone close to him is saying he's exhausting to be around anymore. Tom loves him to death, you can tell. But you can love someone and not like them...and I think that may be the point Tom is hitting. Bert's ego after his movie went sky high, which means the behavior he's notorious for, also went sky high. Even on a calm day, you can barely get a word in when sitting with Bert...he'll talk over every single thing you say in order to talk about himself. Tom has definitely gotten bigger in his britches too, but I think how he is towards Bert, is due to Bert's own self destruction. Hard to watch a brother slowly kill themselves. this is pretty much what i was feeling. i like Tom, saw him on his last tour, but for sure have felt like his attitude has become obnoxious. Christina can be kinda shitty too. that said, Bert isn't a walk in the park and i feel like everybody around him is just sick of the "i'm so famous, i love being famous" constant narcissism, but even worse it's because he's wrung literally one joke for all its worth and then act like he's a comedy legend everyone around him should be grateful to for giving them a career (his constant "i discovered Shane Gillis, i gave him my audience, i helped him with his act" bs is so annoying). the movie bombed because the machine joke is a dead horse and everybody knew it. unfortunately for Tom, his horse is tied to 2B1C/Bert so it's expected of him to go to a premier he didn't really want to go to - even by mutual friends who also weren't going (like Joe couldn't move a podcast?). i've had friends i got tired of (whether narcissism/being a one-sided friendship, alcoholism, their constant poor decisions creating drama, people they keep around, etc) and probably had this same kind of attitude of annoyance with, but he's just gotta make the decision to move on or at least back away from (be friends but end 2B1C) and if Bert/his wife get upset well he can't control that - but it's even more unkind to try to pretend you're still best friends yet this kind of resentment, annoyance, etc. comes out. it's okay to grow in different directions. i don't know how he was so close with Bert in the first place, much less for so long. i'm sure Bert is a good guy if you can look past his narcissism, constant attention whoring, massive exaggerations, etc. but he's gotta figure his shit out too. both could use counseling.

I can tell you this much for a fact. I love them both, and I was introduced to Tom first, but I found Bert independent of Tom and loved him instantly too (well as soon as I got over the no shirt thing but that didn't take all that long because his storytelling and comedy were worth far more of my attention). They have both honestly brought me laughter on the darkest days and I am greatly appreciative of that and for them. Naturally when you find talents like them you would kill to see them in person and especially in an improv jewel of a city like Chicago where I live. Problem is, if you don't live on social media, you find out about shows 20 minutes after their posted at which point, they've sold out. So, Tom suddenly gets posted as almost an impromptu show in Wicker Park Chicago in 3 days and I got the email the second it came out. This time, I was going to get a ticket and I, was, psyched! $300. For 1 ticket. A third of my rent. For maybe an hour. I was crushed. A couple weeks later I see that Kreischer is coming and didn't bother even checking for tickets because they priced me out and I assume if Tom did, Bert had to have also. Crushed again. Starting to wonder why I even stay on these emails for standup shows. I ended up going on the theater's website for some totally unrelated event and though it was only a handful, there were still tickets to Bert. Its arena and Tom's was a small Chicago comedy club so that makes sense and I figured there are still tickets because I could buy a beater for less money. But to my shock and surprise? $35!!!! They were nosebleeds but still. I could have gotten a ticket and not ended up homeless for not paying rent. I didn't get paid until the next day though and by then it was sold out but I still have so much love and respect for Bert keeping it ACTUALLY real and not allowing the theater to price out his audience. And I'm still really disappointed that Tom has allowed his venues to charge prices that the broke people that helped make him famous when he was poor AF, are now not worthy of an hour of his time. It really changes one's perspective about just how NOT funny he can be.

Segura seems like a good dude for the most part, and I find him to be funny as hell… He’s always been too smart to get along with Bert for too long. That being said, Tom makes jokes about it and tries to make it into a bit, but he has had one of the most obvious and open come-ups of any comedian and he really has let success go to his head in a very real way….making significant money now and being able to live a lifestyle he’s apparently always longed for and have things beyond the reach of the the peasants…and he LOVES it. Two things about Tom going or not going to events/premieres/promotions 1) He knows his presence isn’t going to make or break the success of the project pertaining to that premiere. 2) He’s not going to feel obligated to go to something that he didn’t have a role in creating. Burt put all that pressure on him to be involved in the premiere attendance hype. But didn’t even give him a role in that project. I wouldn’t blame anybody for not attending anything if those two criteria are met. 18:15 Bert or LeeAnne doesn’t tell Tom what to do. And I think this comment went right over Bert’s head. He wasn’t talking about Bert, he was talking about how LeeAnne was talking to him about whether or not he was going. As if she’s going to tell him what he will or will not do, removing his freedom of choice. Totally ridiculous to think that if she text him then what she says goes. She has no authority over Tom’s decisions. Friends or not.

At the end of the day, anyone who has been a fan of 2 bears knows that the joke trumps all regardless of who gets hurt. They are comics first and go for the laugh even at there friends expense as I can guarantee things are not the same of air.

same. i thought of tom as one of the few standups i actually found funny (but ig i need to go back and rewatch some) - and i mean it wasn't awful, but. at no point did i laugh out loud, or even much to myself. but like i said, standup comedy specials that i find actually funny are extremely rare. as far as bert though, in all honesty i'd probably sooner watch schaub do standup. which i would never do.

Ive seen Tom a few times Bert once (at Fully Loaded) Colin once.. ... Every show was very different and I think it's fair to say that all the audiences felt very different. With that said, I think Tom could play to Bert's audience... But these are very different groups of people. At fully loaded we had legendary comedians getting booed by a pretty annoying (and drunk) audience. It was extremely frustrating.
