This was a nice play through. I noticed that around the 44:00 mark you entered a cave and then used your other two boots. The rules as I understand them are whenever you enter a Crystal Cave room (...), you won't be able to use Boots until your next turn so technically your movement should have ended after your teleport out of the cave.

Yeah, you are 100% right about not being able to exit the crystal cave in those circumstances. I thought I had annotated that in the Klingon subtitles, but I may have missed it.... thanks for the heads up!

Absolutely!!!!! It’s app-based, so that can be negative for some people. I think that is a huge pro because they can really control a lot of stuff and make new and cool stuff with each update. So absolutely!

Tom I just got Clank and played my first solo game. What’s the difference between the two sides of the board? Just a different layout? I played on the day side.

First of all, congrats! I freaking love this game..... To answer your question: the red-ish side is more difficult. Like, navigating around the board is tougher. So being slowed down by extra feet, or monsters, or just the layout of the tunnels makes it tougher to “get in and get out.” So you become more vulnerable to dragon attacks.

Tom Teaches it seems like you know this game really well. For the first game, I ran in, got the 7 point artifact and ran out. I got 69 points total. What’s a good score in this game? What’s your high score?

Oh dang.... I don’t know if I could even tell you my high score. And I JUST started tracking my plays and scores this year (New Years resolution.) I’m going to guess that I usually score somewhere between 60 and 80 when I play with other people....? And I really can’t remember my solo scores. But I’m sure you’re doing awesomely! I usually really try to go for the big artifacts.... I like the tension there.

Why didn't you do the second dragon when you drew the sapphire? Can the dragon only attack once per turn

You’re exactly right. If I understand your question correctly, when refilling the market row, the dragon will attack AT MOST one time, no matter if there are multiple dragon cards drawn.

I think it’s required... but I say that in the sense of: I don’t know how I’d play this solo without it. There might be a non-solo mode created on BGG, but I haven’t investigated. So, I guess I’ll say that the official solo mode is app-required.
