Stunning. His best performance of this song I reckon. The strings give it so much more emotion than the original version.

For me the worst part of death is not dying or where i will end up its who i will be leaving behind. Leaving the people and things i love. Cancer is such a horrible thing took my nan when she was 60 and im shocked that in 2018 they are no further im finding a cure. So sad to those who don't make it.

This song is amazing. I heard it on the radio for the first time when I was driving home after my mother passed away. Makes me cry every time I hear it. So powerful. What a voice. I will always leave a light on for my mum.

I've been fighting it since 1996. First diagnosed with Follicular Non- Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 1996. While being staged stage one Renal cell Carcinoma unrelated to the NHL was discovered. I had a radical Nephrectomy then 7 weeks of Radiation for the NHL. The NHL returned in 1999 below the lower part of my body this time but because of the location only surgery was required. No radiation due to the location. In 2068 Mohs surgery on my face due to Basal Cell Carcinoma. 2016 NHL returned but this time more aggressive form, called Diffuse Large "B" Cell NHL. Surgery + RCHOP Chemo. and 17 days of radiation. I am still beating it, but 5 of my doctors have passed away. Most from cancer.

I find it strange that 25 (so far) people have given this the thumbs down !! It's what the performance is about and for that matters ? I happened to watch this as is was transmitted and found it very moving, the young boy in the video died but also his mother both of cancer leaving his father and sister to cope with what I can only imagine an untold pain and loss. I turned 56 just the other day but my father only made it to 49 thanks to liver cancer, we should be glad and thankful for all the work like this to fight the terrible scourge of cancer not deciding a performance was "not good" !!!

This song was to overdone. Tom Walker is all we need. His tone is haunting enough without the 'orchestra' to ruin it. I think their is a point of diminished returns as more stings are added Tome walker and 1 Violin and Guitar/ Piano is al that is needed.
