I started following weightlifting just before the 2019 World Championships, binge watching it was a great introduction to the sport! Toma is one of a handful of athletes that makes me want to go beyond just watching to wanting to try it myself, she's amazing to watch. This channel has been a wonderful resource for me as I've gotten into the sport, thank you for doing what you do! :)

@@afb9176 even amateur hacks like myself are training. I'm fortunate enough to have a garage with my own power rack, platforms, bars and iron. So while everyone else is losing their mind I keep progressing. Current PR are 181kg squat, 152kg bench, 211kg deadlift. Powerlifting can be ugly to watch even when done right. Weightlifting is usually beautiful even when it's a bit sketchy.
