OK, OK...I decided I would watch one video per day, so today I chose the Central Park one. Love it, and find that Central Park is one of the most amazing places on earth, because it amazes me that you could find such a place in the middle of New York City. Whoever decided to put such a place in the middle of the city of New York is one of the greatest minds of the modern world. I'll stop at this point before discussing General Sherman (grrrr...) and hold that for another time...

Are you one of those who lives in the “Luxury buildings” that evicted thousands of then middle class working families who just didn’t make enough so they preferred people like you who made them wealthy enough to keep a mistress and a 30 foot yacht. Was it the tv show Friends that made you move here too?

... he got from the fountain. But, yes, he did tip. Street performers' etiquette I guess. The rest went towards Phil's hot dog. People who work or have worked in resturants are usually the best tippers. Mutual brotherhood or it equates to love. Didn't catch what speakeasy 86 meant in Tom/AK's last video. Maybe Tom is waiting for x amount of subscribers before he uses Patreon.

27:57 carriages have been removed because of the same horse exhaustion issue on the islands (Princes' Islands) around my town of Istanbul and now there are electric shuttles instead of carriages, which are convenient for the residents and tourists on a hilly island. Less horse-shit smell, no more horse persecution and cheaper ⭐️ This is a great Central Park tour, so much interesting information, thank you Tom, you're the best 🙏👏👏👏

I lived in NYC to long but had to share. My uncle was a Mounted cop, he rode a horse for 20 years in NYC. Many of the horses were donated to the NYPD, my uncle rode a horse named Mickey. It was his partner. He patrolled Bryant Park! In the 70’s and early 80’s it was a druggie park. Ok, they would take the horses to run hard in Central Park. Fun NYC note, Bernadette Peters, Donated to the mounted police and Mickey was one of her horses. She was loved by the mounted crew and visited to their stables often.

The duck that you show at the start of the blog is the same duck that inspired Bette Middler to write her children''s book 'The Tale Of The Mandarin Duck'. Also, Shakespeare not only has a statue, there is an entire garden dedicated to the bard tucked next to the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater (which has its own unique history). Featuring plants mentioned in his plays, the Shakespeare Garden is a picturesque spot for weddings. As for film, Kramer versus Kramer was filmed on the Mall, Sarah Jessica Parker falls into the lake by the Boat House in Sex And The City and a scene from Sweet Charity was filmed on the Bow Bridge. As for the Dakota, it is also where Rosemary's Baby was filmed in 1968. Lastly, the Ramble is perfectly safe at night.
