Yooooo! I do one of these live interviews each month as part of my Tom D's Big New York Show at Caveat in the Lower East Side of NYC. It's the first Saturday of each month and it's a combination of history, comedy, games, and an interview. Here is the link for tickets - caveat.stellartickets.com/events/tom-ds-big-new-york-show

I chose Grand Central Terminal as well. The Grand Concourse is one of the most beautiful rooms in the world. Plus the Oyster Bar with those Guastavino tiles and the restored Campbell Apt.

I grew up in Jersey in the 60s and 70s, but I was in NYC almost every weekend visiting extended family. I loved riding the subway everywhere, though looking back , the city was much more dangerous than today.

Yea, more interviews with authors named Tom. *Christopher Alexander* (1936-2022) is worth plugging for his body of work, "Pattern Language", "The City is Not a Tree" and more on urbanism.

Interesting program and change of format. Maybe you should consider doing more interviews for videos. At least you won't be cold or too sweaty out in the environment.

Ballet lets the young dancers exert too much influence into what repertoire will be. Ballet is about the elegance of 'being' . . . floating on air (music). The "young" gravitate TOO much to spectacle.
