I watched it when it premiered on HBO. Never knew how television spoiled I was till getting older. I love the rhythm and beats, I practically live life in counts of 4x4. I will leave this food for thought while on the topic of TV. Why do you think it's called television programming?

This has always been some of the most artistic forms of expression that I've ever seen. The synchronization is incredible. Can you imagine if just one person was so much as an 8th of a second off? There's also no outtakes so it's not like they can edit anything out. This is just amazing. Love it.

The HOURS that these crews must put in for these concerts.... Testing (probably) hundreds of percussive items in the real world to determine if a sound will work; composing the 'songs'; putting those songs to choreography to also make them visually entertaining and, last but certainly not least - the practice to get these routines down perfect. My hats off to all the groups in the Stomp universe; I NEVER get tired of watching you.

I watched this in an elementary music class and I remember I was hooked by the star and never lost interest. This movie was so important to me as a child because I used to make up beats with random things and this showed me I wasn't alone. It also help form my opinion that music is something born into us. Humans are born with some primal urge to make or enjoy music. It's something we just feel inside of us. The more primal and raw the sound the more we want to move with it.

I got to see them live (like 10 or 11 years ago) and I can attest that EVEN WITHOUT EDITING AND JUMP CUTS, they have inhuman rhythm and musicality. I remember being worried before the show that they wouldn't be as perfect as they were in the video, but no, they were crazy, crazy good.

Nagy köszönet Thomas. As a kid, this is used as a way to help you understand just how many places you can find music if you just look. But coming back to it as an adult really highlights how much musical genius and talent had to go into every single aspect of every song made in this program. The sewer song I find myself particularly impressed with given the lengths the inspiration behind an idea like that must have taken them to figure out the different ways you can mess with the dynamics of a rhythm just by using water submersion to adjust the pitch of the sound you're making. Just amazing

I remember commenting to my mother that I wanted to do this, someday, and she told me that this took a LOT of practice and work, and not a lot of people could make it. Flash forward to the KZbin era, and there’s TONS of creators and channels who do things like this all the time, in so many different ways, and we LOVE IT. I’m so happy that they’re still able to thrive, and that human creativity is just this weird.
