This is such an easy recipe even a kid could do it...and I’ll prove it! :) I volunteered for a few weeks over the summer at a camp for “kids raising themselves” (most from underprivileged areas where most parents work 2 job and hardly spend time with their kids). I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun than with my SUPER AWESOME group of 6 boys and 6 girls (ages 6-8), or ever felt more proud of these amazing little guys feeling so proud of themselves when we won EVERY challenge we had with other older teams. The other teams chose sports or art (and treated our group as “babies” to go for face painting), but WE chose to show them and went for cooking (by an enthusiastic vote). Yep, cooking! :) Our first time, I took my team members shopping for colorful aprons and hair nets, cut our nails and scrubbed washed our hands...and marched to the massive kitchen at the community center and took over the entire place. We baked cheese bread one week, we baked a variety of cookies another, and prepared this recipe 4 different times (by popular demand from the team and our fans)...and I don’t think I’ve ever felt happier or more proud just watching the pride on MY kids faces when we marched on stage and revealed our delicious cooking creations and the fun of sharing it with our friends and delighted family members. And this recipe was a TOTAL HIT every time because everyone had a chance to have a sample of every taste we created. Yes, you heard right...EVERY TASTE! :) Oh, and each kid done their favorite flavor in 3 times the quantity (to make enough for everyone), and it came out AWESOME with every fruit we tried (and some none fruity),..as they took turns standing next to me/ helping them with the stovetop part while the others stood on stools watching and cheering. Seriously, time with MY amazing kids was the most awesome fun and a million times better than any vacation I thought I needed to distress (I practice Criminal Law and specialize in International Law...so it gets stressful and depressing), I’m definitely doing it again next year...if they’ll have me :) And to give you a small idea on how well the recipe worked, we prepared it with Tomato, Mango, Strawberry, Blueberry, Orange, Pear, Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Peach, Apricot, Carrots...and a few patches I prepared (as an adult taste) with Honey, Mint, Coke, Rosewater and even some hot Chilies. And BTW, you can also add all kinds of nuts to the mix if you like (such as roasted sesame seed or pistachios to the honey mix). Seeeeeee,..I told you even a kid could do it! :) And to the lady cook, my and MY team’s compliments...along with our friends and family members on a great YUMMY idea...simple enough for the little ones to prepare and equally enjoyed by everyone who tasted it. Thanks for sharing :)

*Ingredients: Tomatoes (500g) Boiling water (enough to cover the tomatoes) Cornstarch (80g = 2/3 cup or 16 tbsp) Water (80 ml = 5 and a half tablespoons) Sugar of your choice (80g = half a cup or 8 tbsp) Enough grated coconut to wrap the candy. *Way of doing: 1: Wash the tomatoes and make the cut as in the video; 2: Cover them with boiling water and leave for 2 minutes; 3: Peel the tomatoes and cut them into small pieces; 4: Beat the tomatoes in a blender until they become a juice; 5: In a bowl mix the starch and 80ml (cold) water until well blended and set aside; 6: Put the tomato juice in a pan (nonstick preferably), add the 80g of sugar and boil over low heat until the sugar melts (remove the foam that forms); 7: Gradually add the reserved starch water without stopping. Stir until smooth; 8: Grease a bowl with oil, put the candy inside, cover with plastic wrap and squeeze over to be smooth; 9: Refrigerate until cool and hard; 10: When hardening unmold, cut into cubes and wrap them in the grated coconut. And it's ready! 😃 ** Note: try replacing the tomato with 500g of strawberries .. I think it will be wonderful ... lol This candy is like a tomato jam ... This recipe is very similar to Turkish delight, but much healthier because it does not go so much sugar.

Bhavani Ramesh ⚠️ God has said in the Quran: 🔵 { O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - ( 2:21 ) 🔴 [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. ( 2:22 ) 🔵 And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. ( 2:23 ) 🔴 But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.( 2:24 ) 🔵 And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. ( 2:25 ) ⚠️ Quran
