In a nutshell he's saying "The ends justifies the means". The first defect in that logic is it falsely assumes there aren't other options, the second defect it's a very short term tactical perspective like playing wack a mole, not a long term strategy. Unless those tactics advance a clearly delineated long term strategy, inevitably they backfire resulting in catastrophic blowback for America that cost taxpayers many $ trillions of dollars in blood and treasure wasted on unnecessary wars instead of infrastructure, healthcare and education. Historical examples of CIA tactical failures include, Vietnam war, installing the Shah of Iran, arming Ben Ladin and Mujahideen in Afghanistan leading to the 9/11 attack and 30+ year war in Iraq and Afghanistan, appointing corrupt authoritarian dictators in South America resulting in poverty, oppression, drug smuggling and a mass migration to Americas southern border.

Unless the end is perpetual war in manageable areas to fuel the development and readiness of weapons of war. Projecting power in the process. I mean, you're right that the manageable part in that sentence sometimes requires the word 'mis' in front of it. The public's sacrifice is just that, an imposed, or accepted, sacrifice in the equation.

I love America. I was born in America, and I am an American citizen. I notice my 73-year-old, disabled wife, should not walk downtown alone at ANY time of day. I notice only well-prepared men can walk down certain city streets after dark, much less after midnight. I notice that Elementary school aged children in Seoul, South Korea can - and do - walk alone at 10 pm coming home from school and tutors and be completely safe. While we want to blame the government, and they deserve some blame, we - as Americans - need to look in the mirror and decide to make our homes, neighborhoods and cities safe for ALL people ALL the time. No matter what. When we do that, our political leaders will follow.

If the West can go back to being ethnically homogenous and religious, that would get us 95% of the way to being safer and happier as a society. I didn't use to be conservative and I'm not Christian, but I recognized that the racial makeup and religion of a country has everything to do with safety and security. It surprises me how people think we can import millions of non Whites who share vastly different values and religious practices and think our countries won't change for the worse. If their values work for them in their cultures, then great. Just because we think liberal democracy is the best doesn't mean it's our job to invite the world into our countries like we're running a rehab center.

@@brandonkegler8585 It's not cultural or racial. It is financial. Crime breeds in neglected neghbourhoods. Neglected in terms of education and help for those in poverty, access to healthy food, funding for local schools. US does not provide support for the poor, other than poverty-trapping welfare, where it is better to stay fully poor than to climb out and lose the welfare -- a trap. US provides very little to families -- no help for maternity, no help for sick leave, no help for daycare when parents need to work, etc. US funds schools based on local community wealth, so young kids lose out on education just by being poor. US has food deserts in poor areas. US punishes poverty by lending fees, FICO score, high borrowing rates, mandatory car ownership (cars are expensive to own and maintain and drain significant finances) and poor mass transit. US is built for cars and zoned against small businesses, so everyone is stuck going to large corporate food chains and getting processed food with long shelf life (instead of local market store daily trips, sourced from local farmers). In poor areas this is exacerbated with even more heavily processed foods, filled with sugar and salt, causing untold amount of body and cognitive damage to growing kids in such areas -- they are fat yet micronutrient deprived. US does not have a proper immigration policy, like a point system, so it is disorganized and there is no proper way to work here and be taxed -- instead, work under the table OR deal with tedious and disorganized US immigration (an impossibility). Crime almost pays in ghettos. When a kid can earn big bucks by working for a gang vs their hard-working parents, crime is very very enticing. It does not matter your cultural background. If you are poor, crime is enticing. If you are not poor, crime is not worth it. BTW, I am white, but I share nothing with your culture if you are an American white. As an Eastern European, it took me a loooong time to figure out US. I have culturally more in common with an immigrant from Asia or Africa or mid-America than I have with you. So, nothing to do with race or culture. Everything to do with one's financial capabilities. Don't trick yourself with visual cues, US immigration and history is such that blacks and hispanics are simply more in poverty than whites, so it APPEARS like it is racial, when it is financial instead.

Again this person is comparing the U.S. to the worst countries and I paraphrase “we are more free and better than other countries”. Okey what about the countries whom are just as good but might even be overall better such as Canada, Germany, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, and Sweden combined) and I’m not saying these countries have achieved perfection but rather potentially a higher level of imperfection. The U.S. is still amazing though and my point is there is always room for improvement so let’s not always compare ourselves to the worst countries because quite frankly I think we are better than that. Lastly what is this guest’s core motivator for going on this KZbin channel…..? 🤔✌️💯

Why wouldn't you trust a guy who endorses moral flexibility? He's just trying to keep you safe and free as an American, like all the other people in the CIA.

@1:00 He says CIA goal is American "privacy". Who in the chat feels like they have privacy? Who feels like they have the same or more privacy then they did 10 years ago? I'd say they are doing a horrible job.

I think you can't have socialism plus this "all cultures and peoples are equal" thing. Both of those in conjunction is what ruins a place. Either do socialism with your insulated group or you have to do away with all of the bullshit.
