Men are so funny. She said success and they automatically think “highest bidder” and “rich” when in reality, what she elaborated was a man who is NOT lazy. Success doesn’t mean “richest” - it means finding your niche, what you are good at, your talents and developing that with confidence and earning whatever you do for that skill. My father is a pool cleaner, and he honed in on that skill and has his business. He’s not rich but he’s a hard worker and a gentleman. He drives when the family is together, he is always there when my mom gets back with groceries, if any of us get stuck out with the car - he will be there! Success doesn’t equal money, it’s character! Men who believe success = money have low self esteem. It’s not money for women, it’s can I rely on this man like I did my father. And for many men it’s, can I rely on this woman like I did my mother… It’s a beautiful thing to find a good marriage and it’s a lot of hard work too!

Right... Right... Lets get something very clear. If you want to work all the time and be very successful and bare the burden of that, with all the psychological and physical issues that come with that, that is your burden and yours alone. Don't whine and mope and say "why aren't more men stepping up?". Your expectations of the world are warped by your ambition, and the problems you've created for yourself are now being weaponised against other people. "How dare you make me miserable for not upholding my expectations" is not acceptable and somebody was probably never disciplined by an adult. I see many successful people, punishing the people below them, so let's give you a hypothetical scenario. Let's say eveyone stepped up, and started being bosses. So we're all bosses now. Who's actually going to get stuff done? Who's actually going to do the job? Now let's reverse it, there are no bosses. There is a job that needs doing. Who's going to do it? Literally anyone. So really, value comes from the worker, not the boss. Hence why I'm more than happy working a simple job, however it would be great if people stopped messing with the monetary supply because they were ambitious enough to screw the rest of us over. I.e. bosses
@ThatGuy-tx4vm2 ай бұрын
Even worse. These women are neither bosses nor workers. They are nurturers at home. They do house work, cook and have sex/provide company. Providing company and sex cannot even be considered work and as for housework... I've been living in a middle class family since I was born 26 years ago and we always had a maid at home that took care of the cleaning. The wives of rich people don't even need to cook. Their role basically is to spend the money and have as much fun as possible whilst teaching the children responsibility and how the world works... Which they mostly can't because they've been spoiled their entire lives.

1:34 he didn’t have discipline. You need ambition/goals/desires/dreams/visions, intellect/knowledge/path, and discipline/drive. I have the big goal/desire, I have the knowledge of the exact path I need to take to get there, but do I have the discipline to walk/drive myself down that path everyday (to turn potential into reality)? 2:03 he didn’t develop drive until he had a partner: -To compare his effort/drive/discipline to and feel shame for laziness (his lack of drive/initiative/discipline became much more apparent/visible). -To motivate him to become the best man/choice he could be for her, to be able to give/offer more for her. -To prove the voices that say he’s a failure/mistake wrong, to get rid of the shame and garner respect. In short he developed drive/discipline to be successful once he had the responsibility/accountability to. Responsibility produces drive. If you lack drive/discipline take on responsibilities that come to you. Get married young, have kids young, be responsible for a household. 4:52 To earn reward/respect/honor/praise/love from a woman you love is a powerful driver/incentive.

This idea that we have to permanently better ourselves all the time and pursue productivity and always be in competition with one another is a social construct that benefits a few and destroys the lives of most. The late protestant work ethic and honour systems in the east, are exploitable. The permanent worry of upholding the expectations of a society that is, essentially feudal at this point, or at least up to the point of not upholding traditional values which serves the community. It maintains no actual benefit to our communities or the people in them, but is an instrument of psychological enslavement. The wedge issues that keep us alienated from one another appeals to our egos because we always want to see ourselves as the victim, the hero, the savant, of our own narrative, but when we create one exaggerated form of a persona and attach it to ourselves, we create the opposite persona in someone else by projecting things we dislike within ourselves onto other people. The reason it is exploitable is that whilst we project our fear or hatred on the outer world, and personalise our success, despite the effect of our environment bringing us to where we are through chance, chaos and the ignored good will of those around us, in order to justify this, we have to uphold ourselves to the highest of standards, to become the Übermensch, to become godlike in productivity, in grace and all things, forever dictated to by the whims of what is fashionable, to have all and nothing, to be great and absent, all the while our precious time on the planet drifts away, and our employers or government or whomever we subscribe to gains wealth, attention and power over our minds. There is an argument of a certain degree of need for an ego, without it we would lack agency and will to affect our world, but accepting you are in your reality and you are free within the realms of your perception and agency shouldn't be yours alone, but shared by everyone.

First of all success is measured by overall quality of life , not solely by money. Secondly men already bring significant value to the relationship therefore women should study men and learn what value women have to provide instead of demand things as the weaker sex. To help women out a bit; We just want peace, progress and love.

it is true in jobs the nastiness (sabotage, pettiness, hostility) usually comes from women, even as a man, in the few cases where it does come from the men, it sometimes comes from the men you perceive themselves as alphas or men trying to endear themselves to and in front of the women around them.

The right to vote has historically been connected to land ownership and/or serving in the military. Women did neither of these things. The real struggle was for the right to own property. After that became a woman's right, suffrage became a viable idea.

Tom, yes it is a sacrifice, and that IS - THE - THING that is why it is worth doing, (having kids) even if it may only come later. The drive your *then* fiance *now* wife gave you to achieve is exponentially greater with kids. It WILL make you better.
@JuliaSt979Ай бұрын
He doesn’t want kids because he wants to be his wife’s “No.1” because as a child he was not his mother’s No.1, who told him she prioritized her husband before the kids. Despite all the intellectual growth, this man still has to work on some basic psychological issues. May he be blessed to recover his balance.

Why would you buy validation from a girl by you trying to be at your best ?? Then what?? Keep yourself at your best all the time so you can have a chick by your side ?? It's not worth it. Don't lie to yourself, be who you are,the right girl will follow you.

Firstly. Amazing !!! Conversation. Near the end you said something Tom. That I think is worth repeating and thus highlighting. " technology will not be a utopia" It's not something in and of itself that has the potential to elevate and completely transform out existence and our trajectory. Nor will sex or companion robots ever replace real and organic relationships. And by replace, I mean truly replicate. Yes. A programmable self learning mimic. A big part of it just as it is in relationships. Is to identify what type of relationship we want to be in and what do we honestly need out of the relationship (s)... Technology/other human beings It's like you said. We are going to pass through a very chaotic and accelerated evolutionary period (which clearly we are already in/ begun). And, not everyone is going to make it through. As within biological evolution. So with what comes next for us collectively. And those that think control is the answer opposed to influence / nudging. Will quickly find themselves feeding themselves through a straw (no hands)

the average man UK didn't get the chance to vote until 1918 either. You had to be a property owner to vote and over 30. that is always forgotten and that only because many sacrificed their lives for freedom during WW1 and firstly there were no slaves in GB, so the white woman owning black slaves must have been in a foreign land before 1834.

A real "schemer" this one is. I must say that she has really perfected her grift. Yes, she is Intelligent, attractive, intuitive, excellent communicator... if you can't see through her psycho-babble then you are the audience she is looking for. The same men that think you ask a fish how to catch fish. Of course women concur... duh. Someone else said "clout chaser", yes an apt description... she begged to engage the the RP Community and it soundly rejected her. Now her bitterness and narcissism clearly shows. So interesting to listen and watch Tom fawning over her, the guy is so pathetically rudderless at times. As usual, he compensates by talking over everyone to force his nonsense into equation... truly loves the sound of his own voice. It's all opportunity for her. Listen and watch how she reels him in. God, what a simp, she plays him like a fiddle.

1:09:18 she lost me there…. Women who are not as pretty and maybe successful should stay single and get over this romantic life they dream of. Or Keep their standards to the sky as they should. The average man should not have the opportunity to procreate. Average does not mean only wealthy. There are few that are poor but just above average.
