As someone whose ex-spouse cheated and abandoned our marriage, finances, and family, I can say that it is 100% his fault. But that would be less than honest if I didn't look at how I also impacted the relationship too. I tolerated far too much abuse, disrespect, and unhealthy boundaries, and therefore, it was almost inevitable he would take it to its natural conclusion; betrayal. It seems you misunderstood. Sadia is not condoning cheating, by either partner, but is advocating looking at what both contribute to the breakdown of the relationship. What i loved about this interview is 1. The level of honesty in Sadia in admitting her expertise is capped in some areas and is actually looking for more data to complete her own opinion on a subject by asking Tom. 2. Tom's honesty in sharing his personal experience and wisdom. 3. Sadia teaching the rules to a healthy relationship and Tom embodying that example. In life one can learn to recognize toxicity but will continue to make the same mistakes due to an inability to create a new path to replace the toxic one. Seeing Sadia's theory come alive through Tom's real life experience and witnessing Tom sharing real steps towards a healthy partnership is priceless. I have trained myself to be hyperaware of toxic patterns but I lack the ability to recognize what to replace them with, to recognize what the alternative should be and Tom brought such clarity to this subject for me and of course this was accomplished because his guest was Sadia.

Same thing goes for the gyms, problems problems - if we create only-female spaces and only male-spaces let's compare stats after a year or so and you will find and see just how problematic females are and all they do is fight, and disagree, and get jealous, and hurt, and bla bla, they love drama and they love attention, if they don't get it they get bored.

It can be bc you’re younger, attractive, come from a certain class/family/ethnicity/you’re intelligent/smart and especially if other people also find you attractive, and it used to get worse when they saw male colleagues chatting to me! I don’t know if it was a competitive thing, maybe! 🤔 I never stopped to ask. It’s crazy bc my then bf (now husband) was always very present and everyone knew him where I worked. The annoying thing is someone made something up about me and another male work colleague as a joke and my bf found out and that was a hurtful thing. It still blows my mind to this day. Women gossip and especially bring other women down if they feel threatened in some way. I never understood it bc I’m the youngest of 5 girls and I’ve always been cared for by my older siblings and I’ve always looked up to them and other women especially older women (still do) and 3/4 of times I wasn’t really appreciated. The same thing happened to me in school as well, all the way to high school.

It's such a relief to hear a woman say that it's not only natural for a woman to submit to a man, but it's also healthy. I have found that I truly do better in life with a man by my side. I am capable and can take care of myself, but it's stressful. Having a loving, caring partner whom I can trust makes all the difference in the world. In my last relationship I couldn't trust my partner. He had poor judgement and was deceitful. This was even more exhausting than trying to handle life on my own. Now I'm with a man I adore and trust and to whom I do submit (although that's not something he asks for). I have a huge amount of respect for him and I feel loved and cared for by the endless number of things he does to help make life easier for me. It's such a relief and I am so glad to know that I am fulfilling a natural role. Modern feminists would have women feel weak and backwards for wanting a man to help care for them. Based on my experience, the only reason the divorce rate is low is because of the huge social stigma a divorce presents within these cultures. If you are divorced, the chances of you getting another arranged marriage are effective zero. So they both stay with each other out of fear, and this breeds massive resentment. I have uncles and aunties, who have been married for decades, have a nice home, children, but there is absolutely no romantic connection whatsoever, some sleep in separate rooms…

I enjoyed this conversation for the most part and agreed with probably 90% of the points outlined. The area I have contention with is the focus on women having to understand that men require them, in a marriage, serving them food, getting their needs met domestically. This is difficult for a lot of women when we are working full time, being a mother full time, caring for the household responsibilities and men are required to have a job. This is absolutely ridiculous. Women would be able to handle all the responsibilities of running a home and family without the full time job they have to have to keep the family surviving. There is no mention of men changing their old style of work, come home be served and cared for and mowing the lawn once a week or shoveling snow. Men should also contribute to the running of the home and caring of the children, it would ease up time for a woman to concentrate some of her time to catering to her husband. I am 60+ yo old woman. I have seen a lot of change because of feminism. I use to experience harassment as a 12 yo girl delivering papers, older men cat calling me or making sexual comments about me. As a teenager, I worked in a BBQ joint and my boss smacked me in the butt and I got fired because I told him not to touch me ever again. As a teenager up to my young adulthood, I was turned down for raises or promotion because the boy/man I was "competing" with was deemed more favorable because he was working towards raising a family. Things are not that way today but I can certainly attest to the fact that my experience may have been anecdotal but a lot of women experienced those types of things in the 50s, 60s, 70s and even the 80s.

Sadia is probably the guest I've had the hardest time *wanting* to listen to, which I think makes it that much more important to listen. I've disagreed with guests before, but I guess our ideas diverge in areas where I feel more strongly. Still, I was actually surprised by how much I do agree with some of what she says, or at least can arrive to a similar conclusion as her, even if for different reasons (like you, I find a lot of religious ideals line up with my own morals/habits that I have chosen for myself, but through science, observation, and coincidence rather than because of religious stories). This video is going to be my staple for relationships; it has so much valuable content! 😍 1:31:24 - OMG, I experienced something similar too. A so-called "friend" claimed that her husband was being unfaithful, manipulating their son, and engaging in verbal and physical abuse. It turned out that she herself was involved in S&M activities (which explained the bruises), and she was the one having affairs with men at swinging clubs. It was a harsh revelation. I will forever recall the initial meeting with her husband; my gut feeling told me he was a good person, and although I was perplexed, I trusted her story. This experience taught me that intuition is indeed reliable.

I can tell you from my perspective, that if you are a genuine, kind man inside, capable to love and respect woman, hardcore porn with rape like scenarios are cathartic.
