That moment after 20:10 when he starts talking about the scope of how he builds his life. How he doesn’t plan and then expect to change his plan once he reaches a certain point..rather he truly decides his end game plan and uses the rest of his life to fulfill and fill that in. This seems magical and peaceful.

This episode was so on point for me just now. I worked through it ~3 times straight, putting down notes and ended up with a mindmap of my biggest personal goal at the moment which is building a respectful & clean life. I find myself in that stage where I'm building a systematical balance to back my passionate and ambitious grit to be able to function fruitfully in long term and also be enough established for my future partner. You covered all the right stuff for me, and as a bonus you circled around with the themes of the q-s I've been able to ask and get answers from you in AMA. 2+in1, about suitable partner and memory by journaling (which I took up and is going very well) So this ep stuck out for me quite hard. Thank You, Tom and Rob!

This channel is waking me up into self belief and how far I can go in this life I have. I left Uganda 8 years ago and started from scratch, I have no regrets because the process has been humbling and beautiful . Thank you @Tom for not monetizing this. I agree with so much this man says. He seems a lot like how I want to be in a decade or two. Free, ambitious, hardworking, creative, successful. Definitely agree with "start with the end in mind" philosophy for entrepreneurship, personal projects, and your whole life. and I love how he understands "energy flows" AND personal goals - enjoying your day and working towards even MORE of what you want. this requires *total clarity* which is hard to achieve. great interview

Totally bullshit. This is equivalent to broscience i.e not based in reality. Progress in itself is hollow. Progress i.e. success without fulfillment is failure. Happiness is collection of 4 factors: - Having a sense of family (nurturing) - Having a sense of community (belonging) - Doing good work (that gives you purpose & creates value in your life) - Having faith in something greater yourself (cosmos, god, whatever that transcends you)

I felt connected as well when both Rob and Tom said they have memory chunks, you know like how you forget certain moments of joy or morals, I overcome this by writing the happy moments down, so it just stays there you know, the rest of the negatives just naturally get flushed down the drain. So I believe in this way, forgetting is more of a gift than a curse.

I was surprised and blown away by this interview. The amount of knowledge and wisdom Rob has is amazing. It makes sense, given his amount of success, that he is intelligent and that he planned for it, but I guess I was just ignorant to this. His systematic way of breaking things down into parts and data points is fascinating and something I can see myself implementing into my life.

I've been watching Rob in different formats for a very long time. First as a skateboarder then as a reality tv star, etc. I first heard his business story about 7 years ago and was blown away. So many people know his goofy side - I'm super excited to hear him able to speak more on the nuts and bolts behind how he puts things together. It's way too often that kids see and want to be like somebody with his style and charisma, but don't understand what it actually takes for that person to have created what they did.

Wow! Absolute gold right here. I believe I operate and view the world extremely similar to Rob. It was like being able to listen a very successful, future version of me. I just fast forwarded through several years of trial and error by listening to these processes of thinking that Rob described. I have the baby version of many of these ideas right now. But now I can speed up their effectiveness by knowing what that end version looks like. Just phenomenal value here!! I could never thank you enough, Tom for the value you and Impact Theory add to my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Thank you Tom for adding, in the description, the books Rob spoke of in the video. Please also add the first one he mentioned, “Start at the End” (18:12)

One of the things I love most about Impact Theory is that you really listen to your guests and not just wait for an opportunity to ask your next question. (7:22 is a good example of this) I just wanted to say thanks Tom and team for all the great content and inspiration. Fantasy Factory was one of my favorite shows ever too, Rob rocks!

Surprised that people are surprised with how genius Rob is. He's been #1 skateboarder, had/has top shows on MTV, & more. On Ridiculousness he always knows exactly what to say, of course he's a genius. Thank you for interviewing him

His clothes tell it all, how elegant are his thoughts. And how limitless his aspirations are, where perfection is just a starting point and how he strives for unimaginable, ecstasy, fantasy.

Thank you So much Tom for being the Hub of many great inspiring people, and talking about each aspect of life. Each video is like another added piece of the puzzle of our life, making the whole picture more clear. The ratio Time/knowledge acquisition is better than reading a book. With a book, maybe you would have 10% deeper topics than you channel, but you would spend twice as much time to read everything, which is time consuming. Plus, you would fall asleep after the third page. You seem to enjoy want you are doing, and I can feel it through your interviews. What a breath of fresh air, that you let your guest breathe , not like on TV. Greetings from France

Thank you Tom! This was a great show. Rob's take on why it's important to break a Guinness Record (not talked about in this interview) is something I hope that he shared with you outside of the show. It's a game changer, and now that I know why he did it, I see the pro's doing it everywhere. Rob's got me on a mission to set one myself. All I can say now is it's going to be some kind of walking record. Big ups your way!
