@@shannonhensley2942 I think it means something like her skin looks good, she seems happy, positive and relaxed, and not too tired or weighted down. It's very subtle. Honestly newborns are in my opinion the easiest to take care of unless they have some kind of issue that makes them wake up and scream a lot. Out of my siblings 4 kids, two for each sibling, only one was one of those babies and the other three were chill af. Very easy, they only got more stressful to take care of once they started running around.
@imbluedubbadee
@imbluedubbadee 3 жыл бұрын
I mean, they sometimes sleep a lot. Every child is different, I pretty much never slept for my mum and she never had a moment alone unless my Nan took me, and I screamed a lot. My son slept a fair bit, then got extreme issues around sleeping at night, then at all. It's so varied, even among relatives. Just don't expect anything to be easy, because it is so much worse when you're not expecting it to be hard.
@rayne333
@rayne333 3 жыл бұрын
yeah, i second what others have said about it totally depending on the baby. also newborns have to be feed every like 2-3 hours so it’s not conducive to getting good quality sleep at all. & when you’re caring for a newborn, regardless of how deep a sleeper you were before you become a super light sleeper that wakes at the slightest noise or movement. it’s some weird neuro chemical thing i believe. babies change your brain function for sure, even if you didn’t carry them.
@mael2039
@mael2039 3 жыл бұрын
I still think that unless you have a baby with a health problem, there'll be time to wash your hair together. Now getting things done like house projects, not so much, but you can steal twenty minutes, half an hour of together time for sure. Of course, every baby is different, but I think telling newly expected parents that they won't have time to get anything done ever again as long as their kids are small is misleading and puts lots of stress on new parents. Of course, with a baby your priorities change and everything pretty much changes. It is a 24/7 job but there are moments during the day to sit down and breathe or to get things done even together. I do have children, I just didn't carry them and don't plan on ever doing that.

The dungaree look makes Claudia appear rather intimidating, like she's going to start a fight. Also, in regard to bathing with the bady in the bathroom, apparently when I was a baby my mother would have baths with me in a highchair next to the bath but had to sit up the whole time as I would start crying whenever she was out of sight below the side of the bath.

Yes you absolutely can bring babies in the bathroom haha When I was raising my siblings (lucky me as the eldest girl) and my now nieces and nephews I bathe with them or just have them hang out with me while I take care of myself. They actually love it! ❤️

A little tip for someone with little brothers you’ll definitely both need to tie your hair up because babies love grabbing (and not letting go of) long hair! Would be awesome to see some of Jessica’s tied up hairstyles in the vintage style?!

I wouldn't exactly call myself a tomboy, but my wardrobe mostly consists of men's graphic tees so I guess I'm not exactly a "girly girl". I really want kids down the line, and not being able to dress the way I want is a real concern for me. This really made me feel good about not having to change myself if I ever get to be pregnant.

All I needed was one pair of neutral marine coloured maternity trousers. Additionally I bought myself a regular sized men's jeans working overall where I added two more rows of buttons on the left and right side. That hid the bare parts of my growing tummy really well while my regular size T-shirts and shirts just crawled up. And I bought some XL T-shirts I liked and a cheap sweat-shirt in XXL for the last month when I didn't really care what I looked like anymore because everything felt so uncomfortable anyway. Underpants in your regular size just slide down beneath the growing tummy. If you're for showing your tummy in profile you can wear an elastic thing (don't know what it's called) tight around your midsection covering up all the sliding up or down regular sized clothes.

My favorite thing about Jessica’s memory loss is how she always seems genuinely surprised seeing what outfit is coming up and we get her reaction to how lovely Claudia is as if it’s the first time she’s seen it put together 🥰🥰 it’s just so pure and sweet

I once accidentally bought some comfy stretchy pants with a huge belly band..... not realizing they are pregnancy pants. Best pajama pants I own, zero regrets 😎 (No, I did not wonder what the band was about, I am always cold and was just thinking how warm my midriff was gonna be wearing these)

THIS video! I didn’t know I needed this, but I definitely did. I can’t wait to be pregnant, but I am also a very tomboyish person and it hadn’t really sunken in yet that I wouldn’t suddenly like dresses… This has helped a lot for preemptive confidence.
