I was a driver on Tombstone. I still have my 1st and 2nd unit t shirts, a script and my now faded yellow "Tombstone Productions" dashboard placard which let location security know I was working for the production company. Also I live in Benson10 minutes from the Mescal location and less than 30 minutes from Tombstone. If you notice, many of the buildings are now gone that were present when we filmed Tombstone. The reason they are missing now is because about 7 yrs ago we had a massive microburst that came thru and damaged many of the buildings to the point where they were deemed unsafe and torn down. The microburst was so strong that it flipped a parked motorhome on top of my friends pickup.

I always thot it was crazy modern movies would go to multi places to film vs back in the silver and golden era they filmed all at one location and the original golden era everything was built even in the silver and late golden era normally built their sets for movies but not anymore lol now they use green screen witch right before that they made miniatures but in the old golden age like Ben-Hur ,Fall of the Roman Empire ,Ten Commandments ,Great Wall of Babylon and the largest set of all time and the most expensive movie ever created Cleopatra back in those days every thing was build super large and realistic now that would be an era I wish I lived in later we got the silver era with the wild west movies than the second golden era with the 70s movies and war movies but I would call that the second silver era cuz truly the golden era has to be the 80s to 90s those movies even beat out the 2000s to 2020s to me no movies like the 90s movies from 1920 to 2020 movies have always been an American thing and hopefully that never changes
