Top 10 Most Ridiculous Drag Racing Wheelstands that I have filmed in the last 5 years at Byron Dragway.
This is a wheelie contest so they are taking the wheelie bars off or pulling them way up to win this contest for the roaring crowd. This is an amazing event that goes on every October at Byron Dragway and is one contest that I look forward to every year.

Thanks Matt, yeah it can be an expensive sport if things don't go well. Most of the times the guys doing the wheelies can do it just fine time and time again. This was just a collection of videos I took over 5 years of watching this competition.

I remember back in about 79 or 80, at the county fair... They ran D derby's about 6 or 8 times a summer, and the county fair was the finals A Beautiful Camaro, was the trophy Girls ride all season. exactly the same as in this video, with OEM really type wheels. Color, black top everything...STUNNING CAR, after they drove nice and slow, in front of the grand stands They made a announcement and pulled the Camaro onto the center of the arena, and busted out the glass and filled the doors with cement. About 2 hours later in finals... They ran it in the destruction derby . 😞

The driver of the next car (pink olds I think) needs to learn when to let off the throttle or he already knows & he's crazy like that.
