Hold on til May was written about a fan of the band called Liv Penpraze, who committed suicide at 19 years old, in 2012. She suffered from a multitude of mental illnesses all her life, mainly stemming from being bullied as a child, and she tried to commit suicide every year on the first of May, hence the name of the song, the one year she couldn’t wait til May was the year she succeeded, she died in hospital on Tuesday 3rd April 2012. She was an amazing person who helped hundreds of people through her mental health based tumblr blog; ‘bulimickittens’. The lyrics and instrumentation of this song are so beautiful, and I can’t listen to it without crying.

I'm pretty sure Hold on Till May was written about this girl he used to date whose parents never gave her any attention so she would go and climb a tree and sit waiting to see if her parents would notice she's missing but they never did. Although the title of the song was inspired by Olivia Penpraze. Bulls in the Bronx was written for Olivia Penpraze and her friends and family after hearing about her suicide.

If you want a collection of Pierce The Veil songs that aren't super heavy I can make a list for you :) also, edit: screaming has specific techniques so that you don't damage your vocal chords. for example, Oliver Sykes (the singer of Bring Me the Horizon) damaged his by not learning how to scream properly early on in his career. it takes TONS of effort & a lot of practice

I’ve said this many times and I’m sorry if I come off as whiny but can you please either do a part two to Set It Off or an album reaction to either Cinematics (expanded version), Duality, or Afternoon Midnight (I recommend listening to Midnight after you’ve heard at least one of those previously mentioned albums)? If you’re doing a part two, I highly recommend N.M.E, Kill the Lights, Swan Song, Nightmare, One Single Second, Catch Me If You Can, The Haunting, I’d Rather Drown, and so many more. They have such great music that if I can I would recommend all of it. Also just another suggestion, can you do a reaction to Three Days Grace? I recommend Pain, Over and Over, Get Out Alive, Time of Dying, I Hate Everything About You, Home, Just Like You, and Animal I Have Become.
