Thanks for a very insightful episode. Putting one's actual photo on portfolios etc is not necessarily as straightforward as first appears. Personal identity theft is rife, especially with the rise of AI and deep fakes. However, drawn/illustrated avatars can offer some protection. I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on this point.

@TomFroese , thanks for responding. Do you have any thoughts on my point regarding being cautious about identity theft, as per my message? As a practising illustrator, I'm aware of needing to consider this.

I don't have any experience or expertise to share on the AI side of things, where it comes to photo profiles. If you've shared your photo on the internet, ever, then you've already been exposed. There was an episode of Search Engine podcast about how people can be looked up just by their face appearing in other people's photos. It seems like a losing battle in that sense.
