@@leewaymodels So thanks to your reviews and then making an order. My first Tomix N scale set arrived today. I bought the twilight express set. It only took about 20 mins to set up. I absolutely love it. They are so good for the price. Ive ordered more now. 😂

Tuff choice, I think you get more track with the Kato sets, but Tomix seems to have more availability locally. I have a lean towards the Tomix " Blue train " The price is good, and you get 4 cars plus loco. Then some extra track I can keep to about $ 300 Australia with free delivery . Many thanks for review.

Tomix blue train, just looked it up. It looks nice! Good choice. The oval of track in it is bigger then the one in this video I think.

I added 4 x 280 straights length then an inner loop . No switches yet, kids only 4 and just likes operating anything even the tv.

Another nice looking set from Tomix. They've really upped their game in quality lately and I'm happy to see that. Checking on PlazaJapan again like I did for the smaller locomotive, this larger locomotive is available there for a good price too. I might be tempted to build a Japanese prototype train to run on the NTrak layouts where I participate at model train shows, I'm eagerly awaiting my order of the smaller locomotives that will be released at the end of the month. I'll be detailing them up with more American details to run a small switching layout.

Thank yoou Jake! About the wagons maybe, depends what they are and where you found them. The pannier tank is doing as fine as it can. Not my best runner I have to say but I understand that's how this model is from comments & what people told me on Facebook.

I would get the set with the larger locomotive because it appeals more to me. I like the wheel arraignment because it is odd.

It certainly is not common. You can buy the locomotive by itself as it is sold separately and beleive it or not, it is more expensive then to get this kit! Thanks for sharing your opinion bewen the 2!.
