Great video Derek, I’ve noticed this lot on gas meters, saying U6 or G4 an it clearly isn’t, .. So just to clarify that all old meter in cubic ft, clock style or always U6 meters, and the modern meters with dials/numbers are G4 meters.. And obviously the small electric digital meters are E6 meters

Question Derek, what is the purge volume of a gas only with no pipe work please as I have to fill in Landlords paperwork on kitchen refurbishments only < less than 28 mm

Sorry Russell not quite sure what you are asking but pipe work = to or less than 28 mm is 0.01m3 or 0.355 cubic foot

A tightness test has to be done BEFORE a purge. That's NOT the same as saying "a purge has to be done after a tightness test" - I did acs training last year, and never came across the idea that: "once you TT, you must purge". Are you sure about this?

Mate after a successful tightness test and air has been allowed into the system you must purge so yes I am sure it is also in IGEM/g/11 appendix 5 if you want to check it out
