Great video Derek, I’ve noticed this lot on gas meters, saying U6 or G4 an it clearly isn’t, .. So just to clarify that all old meter in cubic ft, clock style or always U6 meters, and the modern meters with dials/numbers are G4 meters.. And obviously the small electric digital meters are E6 meters

Hi Derek Thanks for your videos. I am looking for a book that explains the principles of combi boilers. E.g. how they work, components, faults etc. I appreciate if you suggest any if there is such book existed. Kind regards Mo
@tomkatgastraining3 жыл бұрын
Because appliances are all different I don’t think any book like that are available but most manufacturers produce books and training courses to help with their appliances

A tightness test has to be done BEFORE a purge. That's NOT the same as saying "a purge has to be done after a tightness test" - I did acs training last year, and never came across the idea that: "once you TT, you must purge". Are you sure about this?
@tomkatgastraining3 жыл бұрын
Mate after a successful tightness test and air has been allowed into the system you must purge so yes I am sure it is also in IGEM/g/11 appendix 5 if you want to check it out
@stoosam32443 жыл бұрын
Thanks v much for replying and for the reference. Will check it out.
@stoosam32443 жыл бұрын
Hi Mate... Do you mean this: "APPENDIX 5: VISUAL RISK ASSESSMENT OF GAS APPLIANCES" Are you saying a tightness test let's air into the system?
