well if you keep 1/more notes the same when moving to another chord, that new chord will inevitably sound connected to the first one in some way just a bit of random knowledge

I reckon Tommy would be upset by the amount of people begging for tabs for this piece! He's never used tabs himself and, after meeting him, I think he'd like you all to use your ears to learn this piece..Just like he did. But that's just my opinion.

You're right, and I'm one of those guys. With the internet now we all rely way too much on tabs and video lessons. I'm sure we would be better off (at least in some aspects) if we were slaving our way through a track trying to figure it out by ourselves.

Tommy does not read music, but how did he become s proficient??

It's not about reading music, it's about hearing the notes..... playing by ear. Paul McCartney doesn't read music either, but creates incredible melodies. Find the notes and chord progressions that lead to music you want.
