BorrioTV dude, you don't get out much do you? There are a LOT of Black people who like metal. But it's stupid attitudes from gatekeepers of all colors who make it hard to be open sometimes. In my case, I'm old school so I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. Good music is good music regardless of genre. Maybe if you weren't so brainwashed by the music industry that segregated music this way, you'd wouldn't be so ignorant.

It was definitely in heavy rotation back in 2002, similar to Dave Navarro's song "Rexall" or Jerry Cantrell's "Anger Rising." But they unfortunately didn't sustain popularity. Weird how that happens. I've always meant to call my local rock station and request these once-popular singles and see what they say.

Since January of this year, 2022, I had to watch my mom go to the hospital for weeks, come home to have me take care of her night and day, have PSW workers call in saying they couldn't make it, make way too many 911 calls, and then sadly in June watch as my mother passed away. Only to now have my landlord question if he wants to sell the place I live at or hike the rent up hundreds of dollars.... suffice to say, the lyrics to this song hit home with me so much anymore, and I find myself listening to this song almost as an anthem now to make it through each day. Thanks, Tommy Lee, for you made a song that hits home with me and I need that so much right now.
