I fucking LOVE how honest and straight forward this dude is. REAL AS CAN BE!

Tommy Lee Jones is the kinda guy that makes you realize acting and movies are just like any other job and it's as simple as that.

I loved this film more than I have any other in quite a long time. Terrific acting and storytelling... watched the film twice in two weeks; it stayed with me so long and moved me like no other. Talk about a real "slice of life." Nothing in this story was how we might want to see our "heroes" but everything was so "close to the bone" of real human beings, like it or not. I hope Jones & Swank make more films together, and soon. Gorgeous soundtrack, too. Excellent and top of my favorites list from now on!

If you ask me he's the modern day Richard Price and Peter Cushing. A gentleman actor.

He's really polite in this interview.

I remember hearing about how he and Steven Seagal were both difficult to work with on Under siege from an actor who was actually in the movie. I can only imagine how much Jones and Seagal probably hated each other.

Tough interview. Tiny, little movie with a big impact.

Well this is a bit awkward.

I wont say its awkward, he is a man with no bullshit and "funny" stuff like 90% of other hollywood actors does in interviews, he is 100% business and serious, its his job. You dont find this kind of man around in the hollywood system now a days anymore unfortunately, u should respect him greatly.

Glenn Johan That is the way he is, and it's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not necessarily a good thing either. In his case it is a positive thing, his work tends to be of great affect, but many other actors with many other methods and behavior are also great.

SORRY TOMMY LEE JONES, And I say this with all do respect, because I know People WHO personally know you. YOUR MOVIE WAS NOT WHAT YOU THINK OF IT!!!!!! The leading character who hung herself supposedly out of humiliation, that type of strong woman would never kill herself especially when she was caring for beings totally depended on her. People who kill themselves in humiliation would never put themselves in a position of humiliation. If the theatrics wanted her dead she should have died fighting to save thus dependent beings. Bad writing……. worse theater.

I believe your pretty full of yourself Tommy Lee Jones!!!! Get over yourself. This movie was very disappointing to watch. It was pretty cheesy. NOT WHAT I WOULD EXPECT from an Actor with your previous accomplishments. POOR DIRECTING AND VERY POOR ACTING. YOU SHOULD NOT BE PROUD OF THIS ONE BY ANY MEANS You lost me during the scene of the Hotel in the middle of NOWHERE!!!! AMATUER to say the LEAST!!! WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING!!!!

Perhaps if you had a knowledge of the history of the plains and how land speculators began towns through investors which they enticed in ways such as that, you might understand the hotel scene better. As for directing, I believe TL Jones did an excellent job, for it was a dry, harsh piece that slaps you in the face with the reality of prairie madness bluntly. Though Swank wasn't the best in this, I think Jones played his character very well. There is no need to insult him, and he was being very business-like in this interview, not being full of himself. He is a man who respects his career.
