Just to explain the Munich thing, the guy that said you need to control the province was right. How "controlling a province" works is you have to have more of the Victory points in the province than anyone else, and once you have enough cities that you own a majority of the VPs, that province is yours. However, because Munich is a major city, it alone is worth enough that it gives you the majority of the VPs. That's why the achievement says "control oberbayern" but it fired as soon as you set foot in Munich.

It's actually very easy to cheese, hire the fascist advisor, delete all troops and immediately open political discourse. Germany will declare on you ASAP, then trigger the civil war, Germany will invite you to Axis. Let Germany clean up all of Poland (you will get control because of the civil war). Then just help Germany kill France, paradrop UK asap, kill and puppet Soviet (you will get all the warscore from occupation since Germany goes through you to attack). Wait a few years until you are very strong, leave Axis and attack Germany, kill them with your meta 40w tanks and 13/4/1 spacemarine divisions... You don't even have to kill Germany, you could just build forts along the border and let them kill themselves for the achievement.

congratulations for dealing with all the Czechoslovakian bugs. I had to go Communist and Order 66 Australia to get this achievement. There is a bug in Germany's Focus Tree, it says that Germany will Bypass Demand Sudetenland if Czechoslovakia is in same Faction as Germany but for some reason it doesn't Bypass; also Czechoslovakian Radar Tech is bugged.

Great videos as usual Tommy. If you want a HOI4 mod that rivals all the other mods to play then I recommend playing The New World Order Mod and playing as SS-Burgundy. Let's just say there is a lot of special surprises within the nation. Be warned, the mod is very lore focused so it may take some time to get into but I promise you it's worth it.

AFAIK control is based on number of VP each side controls. Usually this is cities, but every tile without anything else is worth 0.1 VP’s.
