It's time for the Russian Empire to finally return, for the first time, in HOI4 No Step Back.
The newest, coolest alternate history branch for the Soviet Union in HOI4.
It's time to help the Tsar get his revenge and get these last achievements for 100% HOI4 Series!
The last of the 100% Achievements in HOI4 are here and we are starting with The Romanovs Laugh Last Achievement where the Tsar needs to get revenge on all the Central Powers aka Germany, Austria, Turkey and so on.
Before that, the Russian Empire will have to reform by beating Stalin and the Soviet Union in a gruesome battle of the likes of Transamur in Kaiserreich.
After a long civil war, the actual game will begin and Russia will go against the whole world.
This is gonna be another late game angle, so enjoy late game HOI4 with the beautiful lag.

If Tommy gets the achievement here, there will be only 3 left for the return to 100% HOI4 Achievements.
It will be an uphill battle, but the return to HOI4 Multiplayer and Roleplay will be guaranteed!

I love how Volgograd was changed back to Tsaritsyn. During the Russian Civil War, the White Army captured this important, symbolic city as a staging ground for a march towards Moscow. The White Army wasn’t the best, but they needed to hold this city in order for such an attack. Had they defended the city, it would have been possible that the Whites could stage an assault on Moscow, and had the Reds lost, most likely Stalin would have faced consequences since he was in charge of the operation. God I love this game and Battlefield 1 lol

The Moscow Directive, the planned White offensive on Moscow failed mostly because the army decided to push into Ukraine instead of directly marching on the capital. While Ukraine provided the Whites with more grain, industry and manpower, it also stretched their lines further and provided them with more enemies to fight via the Anarchist "Black" Army.

TommyKay, in the russian civil war it is easier to get to moscow taking the trans-siberian railway than going from anywhere else. In my last Tsarist Russia game, I made my tanks take care of the trans-siberian railway and i forgot about anything else and moscow, leningrad and Stalingrad were too easy to take.

Dude my pc is not rly shitty but it is not ultra good too. When i saw tommy do restoration in 45' i felt a spike in my heart. My game would have EXPLODED by then. That is why many ppl use exploits to make the game easier (civil war, etc ) because they can not afford to play normally since the game would go til 48 and the pc would go KA BOOM

the best time I got for the civil war was around september 1937, I deleted the russian army before the war, saved up some cavalry, got as far west as I could before the war, and snaked to every vp I could with the cavalry

I've tried the civil war with historical AI and Germany will always declare on you and if you're not prepared, its pretty tough. A good strat if your industry and such is underdeveloped when germany will declare on you, leave some of the western breakaway countries and baltics independent as buffers until you're stronk and ready

The Civil War isnt that bad. Just tedious. They key is recognizing that supply is shit East of the Urals so focus your army on moving around the Soviets and capturing railways/encirclements. I can easily win by 38. I then do the Molotov-Rippentrop Pact as normal. Basically I got to war with German exactly like I would as the Soviets but I am weaker by like a year.
