Love the way the curved road bridge 'softens' the visual impact of the hard edge while providing a great spot for displaying cars and trucks. Your layout is full of inspiration sir.

Hello, Paul! 4 fantastic wagons to make a great rake and nicely filmed, especially over the bridge! Clever use and disguising of the point wires! Nice looking Hymek and coaches to end the show today! Thanks for a great visit!

Hi Anthony, I try to buy Roco wagons and the occasional Loco when I can,the quality is superb as you know. I am going to fit clear glazing as it looks strange with them blanked out. Using Gas Welding Wire solves the problem of operating points that cannot have a solenoid switch installed easily. I am very happy how the Hymek runs now it has a CD motor fitted, its a nice match with the crimson coaches. Have a great week. Cheers Paul.👍👍👍

Hi, I have fitted 6v CD motors from old Video players to some of my Lima Locos and they work very well. I now buy the 12v CD conversion kits which are very simple to install and run very smoothly. Thanks for watching and commenting its much appreciated. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Lovely Stuff Paul,some proper smooth running there Pal! I was running two Lima class 37s over the weekend.I also gave my Hornby Black 5 a run out,it actually says on the maintenance sheet it was born on the 14th September 1981.It hadn't run for a year or so,but with a little shove to start her off,she's doing lovely now :) I love the old items Paul .Take care.

Hi Michael, its amazing what a drop of oil can do, keeping track and wheels clean is essential. My Hymek was a good runner with its Lima Ringfield motor but started to be too noisy, fitting a 12v CD motor has turned it into a very quiet Loco. Thats good you blew the cobwebs off your Black 5 and gave the 37s some excersize. Sometimes a little shove is all it takes to get them working. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Hi Paul. Great vlog buddy. Nice slow running trains. Well weathered locos. Do like hoppers and mineral wagons. My favourites are the seacows,. You have a fantastic layout Paul Well done buddy. Stay safe. Pete.

Hi Pete, thanks for the very kind comments. I like my Locos to be as quiet and smooth running as possible. Fitting a CD motor in my Hymek made a huge difference to how it runs. My Roco and Piko Locos are superb runners and very reliable only a drop or two of oil on the motor bearings and axles is all thats needed. I like to collect goods wagons of various types, I have just bought another Coal hopper so now have 4. I keep saying thats enough stock but its an addictive hobby. All the Best, Paul.👍👍🙏

Hi Tim, It pays to check the running of all the locos from time to time and a drop of oil now and again. These CD Motors really are good and are almost maintenance free. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Hi Paul, that's a nice rake of Roco gondola wagons. Your loco,s are running really well. Hope you get those other Roco wagons. All the best butty. Carl.

Hi Carl, I really like Roco Wagons, and was very lucky to find these at a great price. My Limek is running much better with a 12v CD Motor. I did a bit of light servicing to some other Locos. I hope I can get the rake of Roco wagons I have my eye on. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Hi Paul, everything seems to be running well, and your new wagons look great. Gas welding rod, now that might be something useful for future reference, certainly something to consider....cheers James 🙂👍
@paulvozman8426 ай бұрын
Hi James, I try to keep my Locos running smooth and quiet, these 12v CD motors really make this happen on the old Lima and Hornby Locos. The Gas Welding rods are normally about 3ft long and are just the right diameter for connecting to points . Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Those Godolas look very nice Paul. Roco really are the quality European brand in my book. You are having quite the purple patch with all your recent additions. It's always nice when you get a string of new additions, it revamps the enthusiasm. I hate installing point motors. They are not hard to do, just tedious. I've done the ones on the far side, but I do the ones on the open side by hand. I've got a few CD motors on standby just waiting for the first Lima to start growling. I'm actually thinking you could put them in a Tyco power torque motor as well. Would have to hone out the housing a bit, but it would work. Would have to cap the pinion gear to stop the reduction gears from flapping, Steven.

Hi Steven, 2024 is looking good for my wagon collecting. Another 11 Roco wagons in the pipeline and a few Locos hopefully. The gas welding rods work well as a cheap way of operating points. I was using CD Motors from old DVD Players but switched to the 12v ones with the mounting adapters as they have more torque. Stay cool and safe, watch out for Monty. Cheers, Paul. 👍👍👍
