Because it isn’t a real sport and in the end the results don’t really matter. It’s about pushing supplements and clothing. Cornhole is on ESPN. POKER is on tv. Card playing gets airtime but this sport can’t gain mainstream traction. So, just watch and enjoy, pick your favorite guy and think fondly of the days when Ronnie casted a shadow over the earth.

Hadi HANDILY beat Bonac. He should have EASILY been second. I don't personally think he could have beat Brandon, but I could see an argument for that even. He showed up and KILLED everyone and the only reason he didn't beat Brandon was just mass and aesthetics.
@kinggeorge905 жыл бұрын
I agree 1000%. No way Bonac beat Hadi. I thought Hadi beat Brandon too and should have been crowned Mr. Olympia. Hadi was the most conditioned bodybuilder on that stage. Curry looked soft. He lacked a lot of detail and separation especially in his quads, glutes and hamstrings.

I agree with you. I like Brandon's shape, but his conditioning here and his legs - especially calves - is quite poor. 5 years ago he was in this kind of condition and came 8th!! You can tell from Tomn8er's voice how underwhelmed he is by Brandon's win, and I feel the same way. Without Shawn, Phil, Big Ramy or even Kai, this is a second rate lineup. I'm surprised how Hadi compares size wise to Brandon. He actually looks bigger and thicker from the front and back? Brandon looks bigger from the side. Overall I'd give it to Hadi.

I think it should be all black while guys are on stage. They need the lighting like they had in 2002. Also they need to stop to stop allowing guys to apply that stuff they paint on that makes them super dark. Looks ugly. They look the best when it's a nice tan, not tanned so dark they look like a couch, just golden. It shows the muscles off better in my opinion. The shadows from the muscles highlight everything better

Hadi got a GREAT placing. He is already qualified for the Olympia next year, so he can just focus on that and come in looking even better than this year. He won WAY more money than if he competed in the 212. He gets a TON of respect from everyone for challenging the mass monsters and even beating some of them. Man i gotta say this Mr.O wasnt that exiting. Roelly kinda blew it a little, and Hadi was robbed of the 2nd place, atleast in my opinion. Well atleast the Blade was finally sharp af again

As far as I'm concerned, Shawn Rhoden is still the current Mr. Olympia.

1) They need to change the background, make it like 1988 a uniform colour which makes the athletes stand out. It was after all considered the best Mr Olympia production ever. Flashing video screens are too distracting. 2) Lighting was poor 3) They should not have banned Shaun Rhoden. Innocent until proven guilty. Poor showing AMI

The fact that Hadi actually has amazing legs should have won him the Olympia

Lots of great points you made. I can definitely see how Hadi got swindled on this. But to be fair, they all had their bits of sunshine in varied losses. So it really could go either way, but William was definitely not 2nd. His shape just doesn’t work for an elite caliber open class bodybuilder. Hadi made a great splash in the open, enough excitement to make the 2019 open class not a total washout. Overall I think Curry won because of media bias AND He’s an American. You will always get an America winner of the points are really close coming into the finals.

Yeah another thing that's being overlooked is the fact that it's not just a race/nationality thing, but the judges tend to favour established athletes with proven track records. This was Hadi's very first Olympia so he wasn't placed as high as he probably deserved. Moore was in the same boat.
@saunch_bodybuilding55465 жыл бұрын
Tomn8er I forgot about Moore till you made this video. I gotta make a video called “The Robberies of the 2019 Olympia” and just vent about all the BS that happened.

I agree with what others have said-- bad lighting. But can we talk about the camera cuts? Can they hold the same shot for more than half a second so we can actually compare these guys live?

your voice tone says everything lol very disappointed with the competitors this year.. hope this year olympia will be like arnold classic 2017, it was a bad lineup, but in the following year had a lot of big names with pretty good physiques

I totally agree with the others here!!! How in heck Did Bonac beat Hadi his legs where no where near the size shape definition of Hadi...Hadi. Should have got second place. Nor did other parts match up either ... Boo on the judges. Hadi has him on everything

Videos made it really clear why Brandon won. Hadi is really effective when a lot of poses are locked in but he's a bit like a cardboard figure compared to Brandon who's bubbly all over, some shifting or breathing and he kinda "disappears". This holds true in transitions also. This is evident on video and I have to assume in person as well.
