Hello there sir. Okay, you trigger me wanting to join guitar wisdom to actually learn guitar knowledge. I know chords and pentatonic box1, but the rest (all the rest) I cannot. I can play 190+ bpm rhythm trash metal and solo over it (learning with tabs), but really want to play the blues 😂. Question: Is there a learning curve with a starting point on GW? I play every day around 2+ hours and want to turn it into practicing hours and playing. Thank you in advance, will join asap . Regards Axelman8

I knew you'd figure this out faster than your average bear! Teaching it with very simple, even chording is the way to go. For performance, getting the FS3X footswitch allows you to not only activate the band and the regular loop, but you can also shuffle between your A, B, C, etc. sections. I don't use the sequencer, because with the extra footswitch you can let each section loop as many times as you want before shifting to the next one, and you can return to the first loop and do the whole thing again. In performance I might run A A A B B C A A A, etc., and if I'm feeling the section I'm in, I can let it keep going. Great video on this underutilized pedal!

I thought simple way is the best way to learn new things. This pedal is very smart as you saw... I was making my part and press with my hand, totally not right timing but this gear fix that for you! That's so great! Much better than any looper pedals that if you miss a timing then it's not working! I think many possibilities! Amazing! Thanks for sharing! Thank you so much!

When you start part 2 of the song, the top green button, 1st hold in 2 or 3 , push in the green button and you get a click track to play in same time as part 1. It's a great tool especially for the theory less simpletons like myself 🙃 Well done quick intro to the Trio+!!!!

It also comes with a micro SD card 8g, in which you can store up to 12 songs and then upload to the trio+ manager app which also allows for arranging parts. So you can create different sets if needed, and then there's a community of people creating sets and songs to download...I got it originally as a practice tool but found it had more uses for me busking, recording demos and great fun just jamming even warming up before the others that are playing show up, turn off any of the instruments you want..

Thank you Tomo for sharing the DTPB! Looper they are a great tool to have if you enjoy writing songs jamming also, in this case for guitar or any kind of solo instrument. I myself own a Jamman JML2 which is old by todays standards but still gets the job done. That being said there is a learning curve with all of these units but once you master them wow! I've played at parties with a JML2 with a drummer for a while and they really work, about the only issue I have with these units are the foot switches which can break if you step on them to hard, "I don't know if they have fixed that or not" these are not commen switches"and need to be sent back to Digitech for repair, they are good about it and won't charge you anything so make sure to register the unit and keep the receipt. Thanks again.

Hi Tomo, I have a question about the Trio that I'm hoping you can answer. I have an old Loopstation 300 and one of the things I love about it is that it's got a LED display where I can name each of my multipart songs which makes it really easy to navigate to a specific song and load it. How do you easily recall and load a song that you've previously programmed into the Trio+?
@TomoFujitaMusicАй бұрын
I don't know about yet. That would be great to name each track. I only record a few ideas right now. Maybe you can ask Digitech guys! Thank you.
@DavidBerlindАй бұрын
I found the answer (and demo) at the 1:10 spot in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHezfnyaeayUhdk . The way it works is that when you press the Style button, it toggles into a Song Storage button. In that mode, each of the tiny 12 lights around the button represents a storage location and you turn the knob to control which of those locations you're working with. If the light is already dimly lit before turning the knob to it, it means that there's a song already stored in that location. This is a bit of a limiting factor because it means you can only have a maximum of 12 songs per SD card. To get another 12 songs, you have to change SD cards. And so on. The Loopstation RC-300 has 99 storage locations that can be named and recalled with meaningful text.
@DavidBerlindАй бұрын
Also, since you can't name the songs, You have to know which song is in which position (1-12) on each SD card. Basically, you would need a system for numbering your SD cards and a cheat sheet for each SD card that tells you which song is in each position. It's not a deal breaker given everything else that the pedal does which is amazing. But it's a pretty big oversight IMHO. In my case, I don't think I would get rid of my RC 300. Instead, I would use the trio+ to create a song or a backing track and then I would transfer that over to one of the 99 locations in the RC 300 to make it easily recallable.
@TomoFujitaMusicАй бұрын
@@DavidBerlind You're a great teacher! Thank you for sharing! Actually I love that limitation on 12 songs!

Custom genres, ability to buy drummers pattern packs (like EZ Drummer expansions), actual live drum sounds instead of the 1980s 8bit dreadful Casio tone drum Sounds … and Bluetooth integration to play backing music into the unit. The product could have been phenomenal- but it’s just meh
